The Number Of People On Welfare Exceeds The Number Of People With Jobs In 11 States

This list of states includes some of the biggest states in the country: California, New York, Illinois, Ohio, Maine, Kentucky, South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, New Mexico and Hawaii. It is interesting to note that seven of those states were won by Barack Obama on election night.

Yah, back the 70's, when American industry was thriving and most with unions. Hmmmm. Let's see. What is it that changed? Oh...that's right. "Patriots" like yourself, were told by boss man that worker's rights are a bad thing and you bought into it. CEO's pay increased 800% while they were selling America out to cheap overseas labor and giving themselves stimulus bonuses, the whole time and to this day, you mindlessly follow what propaganda billionaires have told you (see second hand smoke is not harmful, energy emissions have no effect on our environment, breaking up unions like they do in China is good for the working man...)
Just because you were dumb enough to buy into things like trickledown or "God told me to invade Iraq", doesn't mean the thinking folks in this nation should have to pay for your very bad, as in "Mission Accomplished" bad decisions.
Yes, we get so much better advice today such as putting more air in your tires will save us more oil than we can drill. Or the surprise that we have 57 states in this country. Or that we need to pass a bill to find out what's in it.

Now you ask "what has changed?" and I already told you: consumer demands.

The American consumer refused to support the unions. They wanted and still want cheap Chinese non-union products. How do you blame a CEO for providing customers with what they want? How is it his or hers fault? Did you know that GM has parking privileges for their workers who own American cars? That's because many of these union workers were going in to work in Japanese cars and trucks. If the chef won't even eat at the restaurant he works at..........

Being an environmentalist and all, I think you would be thrilled at the lack of production in our country today. Regulations closed those dirty factories so they moved out of the country, and now our cars are all plastic so we have very few dirty steel mills in our country today.

As Professor Walter Williams pointed out in one of his columns (which I believe I posted here) the lack of manufacturing has to do more with automation and less outsourcing. I'd post the site again, but it''s the first week of June and I'm freezing in here. I may have to turn on the furnace again it's so cold.

Threat color!? That was adusted & then dropped years ago but you're so slow that you probably thought it somehow applicable to this conversation.
Fox News IS more fair & balanced than MSNBC, ABC & most others. They even INVITE progressives/liberals to come onto their news & talk shows while the others not only DO NOT invite other opinions. Fox even hired Juan Williams after CNN canned him for simply saying people in Muslim garb on an air plane make him nervous. Then many liberals publically & relentlessly call others 'the Tea Party the enemy', a certain commentator a 'right wing slut', tell republicans that they 'can come along but have to sit in the back'...of the bus, & more, defend that for the rest of us.

Are you economist? Its not ridiculous. In the entire tax revenue pie chart of what the US takes in, corp taxes only amount to 12%

Why have the highest corp tax rate in the world? You're only hurting people who want jobs.

Setting the corp tax at zero would quickly be offset by personal income tax even at the same rate. Setting the corp tax at zero would attract corporate headquarters from around the world at a pace growing the economy at a meltdown pace. Even Chinese outfits would leave to move here despite the hindering labor cost and EPA red tape.

Anyone that understands supply and demand understands the unemployment would drop to near zero and everyone knows that's what's happening in north dakota currently. You know.....where starting pay at wal mart is $17...
.
Democrats won't let it happen because they know they'd lose control of their plantation. Itd be difficult enough getting it done with republicans.

JM Smucker Stockholders:
JM Smucker stockholders market 25% more stock dividends (money) in fourth quarter in price of Smucker products.
Needed to measure and maintain the strength and growth of this UNAFFORDABLE economy and distribute money Human Beings cannot digest, burn in internal combustion engines, or burn to heat and cool their American Dream into JM Smucker Stockholders portfolios.
The majority of Us the Government of this Representative Republic that vote and the nonvoters that sit on their dead hands and whine; elect and reelect Obnoxious President, Vice President, Governor, Representatives of US the Government, County Commissioners, Township Trustees, Mayors, City Council, School Administrators and Board Members.
That defies USA Labor Law, The Constitution, and demands of Natural Law: what Mother Nature, God, or Whatever Power decreed to be the reality of the real world, democracy, capitalism, the US Constitution, and free, fair, and affordable commerce and common sense demands.
Demanding JM Smucker Company and every Business Owner and their Stockholders, corporation, farmer, business, outsourcer sweatshop, and nonprofit, tax-exempt, organization and Church; markets the cost in the wholesale and retail price of his or her product and service; of every worker, consumer, and taxpayer's wages (union contract), healthcare, pension, investment and independent business profit.
This enables every worker, consumer, and taxpayer to pay healthcare insurance premium or pay healthcare provider. Pay ALL taxes and pay for every product and service they use for life. With money derived from wages, investment profit, and independent business profit.
And enables every parent to educate, love, nurse, nurture, discipline, protect, and provide; for every child (job) they conceive. And fund schools, infrastructure, local and national security, government services, and etc.; with money derived from wages, investment profit, and independent business profit.
President, the Justices they appoint, and Elected Officials hold Union workers, consumers, taxpayers, and America’s grandchildren’s children, Government employees, Parents, Teachers, Veterans, Police, Firemen, and Fathers disqualified for affirmative action with white skin, Representatives deny Collective Bargaining Rights accountable.
To fund Illegal drug users and Immigrants, lottery, casino, and keno losers, unemployed Union workers replaced with nonunion workers, Human Traffickers, waitresses that pander for life for $2.00 per hour, slaves in tax abated enterprise zones, low-income child labor, consumers, and taxpayers, volunteers without wages, and nonunion workers willing to work for fewer wages than they can afford life; Paying for the more stock dividends (money) JM Smucker Stockholders (money marketers) market quarterly in the wholesale and retail price of JM Smucker Company products. That pays with welfare checks, food stamps, housing vouchers, and Medicaid. With money derived from wages, investment profit, and independent business profit.
This is defiance of USA Labor Law, The Constitution, and demands of Natural Law: what Mother Nature, God, or Whatever Power decreed to be the reality of the real world, democracy, capitalism, the US Constitution, and free, fair, and affordable commerce and common sense demands.
Makes free, fair, and affordable commerce IMPOSSIBLE; Makes funding schools IMPOSSIBLE; Makes balancing every budget IMPOSSIBLE; Makes Union workers, consumers, taxpayers, and Americas grandchildren's children life UNAFFORDABLE; and created Ohio’s $1.35 trillion budget deficit, the $40 trillion social security and the $16 trillion national debt. America’s grandchildren’s children are responsible to pay Chinese, Foreign and Domestic Investors and Stockholders interest with this debt until they are 18 years old.
America’s grandchildren’s children cannot afford life and pay this debt with the $7.25 per hour Government mandated labor wage in a hundred million years.

This is because you've been lied to about what the parties are about. The Republican party is not about the wealthy, the Republican party is the party that believes in true equality for all.
Democrats love to divide Americans into groups, and then pick the winners and losers.
Gay vs straight, smokers vs non-smokers, rich vs poor, working vs non-working, black vs white..........
Of course Democrats vote for their best interest, and their best interest is stealing money from other people to give to them. But oh, they are not greedy, only wealthy people who earned their money are greedy.
What I laugh about are the fools who complain about CEO's and their pay, but then deal or invest in those very same companies. But those ever so concerned Americans are not about to take a stand. They will never do without their cell phone, their landline, their internet, their fast food, nothing. They will continue to deal with all these companies no matter how much the CEO makes.
Yeah, but speaking of cell phones, internet and cable, who do you think is paying for all those free services for other people? That's right, the paying customers. When these liberals get their panties wet about how poor people don't have this or that, they mandate it and those companies charge us--the working people.
The telecoms have been raping the American people on texts. Texting is based on technology that is basically free. In short, they don't have to charge us for texts. But that hasn't stopped them from raking in billions and billions. And you want to talk about us funding poor people with phones? LOL.

Seriously, you need to stop fighting for the rich. Your ancestors had the right idea when they left Poland and never looked back. It was in their best interests. Why not do the same? Why not take the disability and enjoy life? Why not work the system if you have to? Why not vote for the people who will keep social safety nets in place for you? Do you plan on driving that truck for another 25 years? You will need the safety nets. Vote your interests.

Even if you were making $100,000 per year, you're one medical emergency from being wiped out. A cancer battle could have you needing all the benefits the filthy rich want to cut.

As for the division, it is the domain of the republican base. Who cares about gays getting married? I don't. Mouth-breathers act like being gay is a communicable disease. And why is a party with a base against welfare for saving fetuses? Save the fetuses, let the babies starve? You also have white women who are against Affirmative Action. White women benefit the most from AA. LOL The party is full of contradictions. It is divisive by nature. Social conservatism is where the ignorant feel comfortable.

Really now? Then why is it the poorest areas vote Democrat? Because they are so well educated? And why do the most affluent areas vote Republican? Because of their ignorance?

So now that you educated me on how "telecoms" are so wealthy, let me ask, how much money do you have invested with those companies? After all, if I knew of any company rolling around in dough, I would take loans out to make investments. But I bet you didn't. LOL!

As to why I don't take advantage of other peoples money, it's because I am educated enough to know it's the demise of this great country. Look at Greece! Look at the plight of many European countries! Oh! But that can't happen in the good ole USA.

It's what we Republicans call the Cart Theory. When everybody is contributing and pulling an empty cart, the cart flies down the road. As people who are pulling the cart jump into the cart instead, the cart goes slower and slower. When more people are in the cart than those pulling it, the cart stops. and that's where the US is today.

Believe it or not, there are actually those of us out there who care about the future. No, we won't be here, but our children will, our grandchildren will, the children of our neighbors and friends will.

The UAW workers are about the worst of them. Most people don't understand that unless they've had the unpleasant experience of working with them.

I've been driving a truck for well over 20 years now. One of the reasons my car is Japanese is because of what I had to go through delivering to these automotive plants. These UAW workers are some of the most useless human beings on earth.

Out of all my bad experiences with the union workers, the one I remember the best was a delivery I had to make to the Chrysler plant (now closed down) in Twinsburg.

I got to the docks and asked where they wanted me to park my truck. They told me Fred (the supervisor) was the only one who could give me a dock. Fine I said, where is Fred? The workers replied that Fred was in his office, but he's sleeping, and if I wake him up, he'll keep me there all day. They started to laugh and I laughed with them. I can take a joke. But when I went to the office, they weren't kidding. Fred was actually sleeping.

So I went back to the group of guys who were standing around doing absolutely nothing, and explained that I had to get that truck unloaded in order to avoid charging the customer for delay time. One of the workers hesitantly went and got Fred who came out of the office grumpy as all hell. Our conversation went like this:

This isn't our freight.

Then who's freight is it?

This is the millwright unions freight and I can't unload it.

Why not?

Because if I unload it, the millwright workers can file a grievance against me.

Okay, so can you ask a millwright worker to come here and unload this truck?

The millwright workers can't unload this truck.

Why not?

Because this isn't a millwrights dock.

Oaky, where is the millwrights dock?

In front of the building.

Okay, I'll drive around to the front of the building, and you ask the millwright workers to unload me there.

I can't.

Why not?

Because the millwright's dock plates are broken. But I think the maintenance guy knows how to get them working.

Okay, so I'll drive around to the front, and you ask the maintenance guy to get the dock plate on my trailer.

I can't.

Now why not?

Because only a millwright maintenance guy is allowed to mess around with the millwrights dock, and I don't know if he's here yet.

Long story short, I finally went to the front, they finally found a millwrights maintenance guy and they put the dock plate on my trailer. But then nobody was doing anything, so I went inside to see WTF was up. I approached the guy on the tow motor and asked when they would start unloaded me because I've already been there almost three hours? The guy just laughed and said "Now we're on lunch."

A non-union shop would have had my truck unloaded in about a half-hour. But because it was a union shop with union nonsense, I spent the entire morning there.

Affluent people vote Republican for financial reasons. Mouth-breathers vote Republican against their financial best interests. Mouth-breathers are worried about social conservatism. It's a fact that uneducated people tend to be more conservative socially. The minority vote is what throws off the education demographics. Minorities rightfully vote for their best interests. Look at the bible belt. Some of the dumbest white people in existence are in those states. Those states are Republican strongholds.

Yes, my advice is to screw other people and think about yourself. The same way your ancestors did when they left Poland. Why didn't they stay there and work on the country? Why be opportunists? You are in the U.S. because other people in your family followed my line of thinking. Go to where the getting is good. Look out for number one.

Looking out for number one is what the corporations did. They sent the jobs overseas to increase the bottom line. Think they care what happens to the U.S.? The only people who don't look out for number one are the mouth-breathers in the Republican party. At least poor Democrats have the good sense to vote for their financial interests. I can't stand the inbred Republican base. Literally one check from the poor house and still don't get the game. But at least they have their pride. That and $4 can get them a gallon of gas. LOL

And the mouth-breathers have given Americans a bad global reputation. Every country I go to, I hear about the uneducated and angry dolts who make up the Republican base. War-hungry. Crazy about guns and intolerant. Ignorant. The Republican base has really done a number for America's reputation.

America could take back jobs but the democrats don't have the balls to set corporate tax rate at zero percent. Would be difficult enough to get repubs to do it.
