As one of the peaceful protestors for our 2nd amendment rights, you guys need to understand something, Our hearts go out to the victims of these shootings, but the "feel good" laws they want to put in place would have absolutely done "NOTHING" to prevent these shootings, the criminals "DO NOT FOLLOW THE LAWS" that includes "gun purchasing laws." If they did they wouldn't be called criminals. The legislators KNOW this and that's why the laws didn't get passed the Senate! It's only going to burden the law abiding citizen who wants to protect themselves and their families from being a victim like the young men who spoke at the rally. NO LAW whatsoever would have prevented these trajadies! Universal Background Checks will only lead to gun registration with the federal Govt. which in turn, if history taught us anything, WILL lead to confiscation by the same people that brought us the IRS, NSA, TSA Scandles, Do NOT let them infringe on your constitutional rights!...MAYBE, just MAYBE if someone was their with a gun at Chardon, the shooter could have been stopped...Understand something, when a madman goes on a shooting spree, the first thing your gonna do is call someone with a gun, and when seconds count, the police are minutes away!...Support Rob Portmans decision and stay armed my friends!

nothing but a field of liberals too lazy to clean up the mess of signs they left behind.
