In November, the nation will elect a new president. While many voters have already decided whom they will vote for, there are still many who are undecided or have made a decision not to vote.

My brother emailed me and told me about this letter hear and one appearing in the Las Vegas paper that is almost the exact same letter named "COW GAS"

acutally, the "global warming tax" you are whining about comes from the fact that all that feed that is going to the cows could be going towards alternative fuels ... instead of the "cows" in polyester and "Confederate Flags" in the "gun shows" at the county fair ...

Joseph Lorkowski still don't get it. The oil will not be available from those sources for about 7 to 10 years. The oil will make little to no difference on prices in the USA. We already have enough oil wells that have oil that the oil companies are not pumping oil out of. This is nothing more than a stategy for the oil companies to get what they couldn't get for all these years. Joe Lorkowski must think if someone twists your arm you should immediately say uncle.

and then, of course, the oil companies sell it to the highest bidder ... no guarantee that the oil pulled from the national park would go to the U.S.A. or the prices would go down ...

John "Spuds" McCainzie told reporters yesterday that oil drillers told him they could bring new oil sources on line in months rather than years. First I've heard this.

This is the same guy that "redefined" the Surge to the point he can take personal credit, told the people of Pittsburgh that he quoted the teams defensive line name during interrogation yet his biography and biopic states different (Green Bay Packers).

He claims to "support the troops" but has an abysmal record with veterans affairs and every vet's group backs that up. He voted against funding for both the reserves and the national guard. He voted against increasing the military's time between redeployments. Basically, the only thing he's supported is the status quo, which has been attacked by everyone as destroying our military.

He belittles Barack Obama for his history with subcommittee attendance but hasn't personally cast a vote this year and missed many a committee meeting where he is the ranking minority member.

And, hey - who wouldn't believe an oilman? They've claimed for years that they plow all those big profits back into that ole expensive beyond belief demon exploration.

Recent numbers show that they spend upwards of 80 times more paying dividends and buying back stock to boost stock prices and improve the pay of the execs. I shouldn't have to even mention Enron, the authors of much of our current energy policy and favorites of Darth Cheney.

The question should be "Who do you think is a bigger liar?"

We need to go back and forth, then, as JoJo McSame's record is lengthy and full of contradictions to his present positions on many of the things that he's trying to define himself with.

And I have to agree with Barry O - putting 30k more troops in the streets can't do anything but reduce violence, yet the premise used to justify the surge remains unsatisfied. And, when using McSames new definitions, the surge looks even less successful.

All we've done is create a client-state among all those who hate us by paying them off. What happens when the money stops flowing? Or will that be the legacy of the "war"?

All it has accomplished is to embolden the Iraqi's to ask us to leave. Which was when McSame once claimed would be the time to get out. Until that no longer supported the position he has to maintain to get the Wing Nuts out to vote for him.

A voter for McBush is a vote for more of the same. If "the same" works for you then you know where to throw your allegiance.

Well, based on shear volume and with all his years as a public servant, McSame seems to have the most promise.

And with his failing memory it will become more difficult to keep up with. He can't seem to remember many of the votes he cast or why - and that's all stuff he's "dedicated his life to" - so just about everything that comes out of his mouth is suspect.
