Whenever they start putting limits on your CCW,there's a problem. Carrying a firearm is our right to self defense and when they start telling you,'You cannot carry in this area', THAT is when your rights and liberties begin to be eroded away. They'll tell you,'because of alcohol', and then, when the liberals want to take MORE areas that you can carry in away, they'll come up with another reason why that freedom was taken away. Gradually, bit by bit is how liberals kill your rights, and they use,'it's because of this reason' to do it. Eventually, you'll fin yourself with a permit and a gun that is illegal because now,you cannot carry it anymore.

Quite honestly,I think the law should be as it was before. Constitutional carry. Our constitution guarantees us the right to keep and bear arms, and,by constitutional law,we should be allowed to carry wherever we go.

Make it so police and body guards have to follow the same rules. http://www.tampabay.com/news/publicsafety/cri...
Because stuff like this happens. Citizens can do some things to protect themselves when the cops aren't there, and that's 99.99999% of the time. Unless you're driving over the speed limit. If you ask me, you get robbed just paying for the crap served at applebees.

some of you are F-ing retarded!!! first of all the article clearly states that officers have enough trouble in bars and calls the people in there with ccw "criminals"...im sorry but for $180 and passing the background check you should be able to carry it where ever you want to defend urself or your family...no vigilante justice lol...i think that there are so many laws on the shit you cant remember all of them and the one time you slip up and happens to be a cop involved then ur in trouble now...atleast some of us are trying to do the right thing and get a ccw...also i think its just another thing for the state to suck money outta people!!! and hell for as many cops that have been layed off everyone should go get a ccw... "the right to bare arms" doesnt exist lol...
we could start a whole other thread about what the police can't handle, like 19 year old kids.. http://www.thehighroad.org/archive/index.php/...

Oh, really? Do you consider Matthew Warmus one?
And while you are fumbling for your gun when a nut goes crazy like in Tuscon, I'll be running as fast as possible to avoid getting shot by them AND you.
yes really. Look at the actual statistics instead of pointing out the bad apples. You better serpentine as you run from them cuz I'm not drawing my wepon to protect you.

There is no worry about that here in Ohio. If anything, liberals now fear the gun toting people. Remember who signed the CCW law and Castle Doctrine that included your car as your secondary castle.

It seems like every other year or so, they are making our CCW laws more liberal, and this is a good thing. A couple of years back, I was on a dart team. If you are not familiar with dart teams, we play half our games at our home bar and half at the visitors bars. When I drove to their bars, I didn't touch a drop because I'm a truck driver, and can be held to truck driver DUI levels which is about two beers even though I'm driving my car.

We had to play in a shady part of Cleveland one night, and I could only keep my gun inside of my car for the ride there and back, but I couldn't take the gun inside. I worried about somebody breaking into my car and stealing the gun. So I'm behind the law that states you can be allowed in bars and restaurants where alcohol is served.
