Residents clash over dumping of coal ash

Almost daily, a train pulls into an Alabama rail yard hauling 8,500 tons of a distant disaster to the Arrowhead Landfill here in Perry County, which is very poor and almost 70 percent black.

the further south you go the dummer people seem to get if tennessee dont want it at any price. why does alabama. Durr!!!!

Aint nothing wrong with having a landfill. The positive side of it is that its provided people in u'town with great needed jobs in the area. So talking negative about it isnt gonna stop anything. So lets see how it plays out and watch how the much needed changes in the town evolve
