Hey, maybe it`s not the coaches fault. James Monroe has some of the best coaches in the state, and always have. Newberry, Jackson, Ballard, hard to beat. Get off their back and face up.

What we need is for the coaches to play different kids. If the ones that they have out there are not doing the job then put different kids out and let them try!!!!! It's that simple. They have a lot of kids standing there that worked their butts off during practice just like the others but yet they don't get a chance to touch the field except to go out and exercise.!!! It's clear there's a problem so what have they got to loose?? NOTHING !!!!!!!! They just might be surprised. If this steps on some toes sorry about that but it's the truth so deal with it.

you are 100% correct,last night we needed bigger defenseive backs, and defense coach lets them stand on the side, this has been going on for a long time,if they never get to play in a real game, they wont get any better,practice is good but not like a real game. JM. cocahes have got a select few players that they want on the field, and they wont put anyone else in win or lose, now thats dumb and sad at the same time . if you dont see this going on ,then you are blind, and no they are not the best coaches in the state.there have been some players that have quit because of this type of coaching and more will follow.wait untill next week. pay attenion,watch the coaches lose the ball game,the kids are great, they just need to be treated fair as a team.there is more than 8 good players on our team.

the coaches have nothing to do with how good a team will be, it all depends on what kind of superstar athletes you have on the team. some years you are loaded and some years you will have none and when you have none you will get beat by the bigger, faster, stronger team, it is as simple as that.

i am so glad that parents are seeing this, and we need to bring it to everybodys att. these burned out old coaches need to get the heck out,and lets put some real coaches in their place,and start treating the kids fair ,not like tackle dummies..........

Yeah I agree the football coaches at JMH are old, washed up and their time has come and gone. They need a young fresh coaching staff there that can interject some life and pride into the football team.

For years JMH has dominated in football.We have a bad year as all teams will have in the real world and its all the coaches fault? I cannot beleive the lack of fan support when we are having a losing season. Can anyone else tell me where all the "fairweather fans" have gone? I was at last friday nights game and was shocked and disappointed to see that hardly no one was there. Was is that telling our kids???? East has had losing seasons for years but have you ever been to a football game there when not playing JM? Well guess what the stands are filled with the community supporting their kids! I am just wondering where has all of our community support gone??? sad sad sad

Is anyone else out there sick of the way the boys from the upper end of the county get treated by Donnie Jackson and his coaches @ JAMES MONROE?I've sat back and watched for the last few years as Jackson constantly showed favoritism to the boys from the lower end. Time and again the boys from the lower end get all the playing time while the boys from the upper end walk the sideline,regardless of talent or ability.Last year,for example,most of the juniors on the team never hardly got in the game ,because most of them were from the upper end of the county.This year though,juniors and sophomores start over seniors because of where they're from or because their mommies and daddies have kissed ass to get their kids starting positions,AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!Whenever a boy from the upper end does make it into a game he had better not make a single mistake or he will be right back on the sideline,meanwhile the boys from the lower end can constantly mess up and stay in the game with a "that's alright you'll get'em next time" from Jackson.There's no way Jackson can honestly and truly say a boy from the upper end gets the same opportunities and treatment as the boys from the lower end.Why is Lee Carter on the sideline?Is it not enough that Mountain View football is a total mess , he has to have his nose up Jackson's ass on Friday nights too?Why is Marvin Dixon on the sideline?It's plain to see he's only there to get his sons playing time.Neither of them should be allowed to coach kids at any level or in any sport.One day a**holes like Carter,Dixon and Jackson will have to answer for the way they have treated all of the boys over the years.What has Jackson done but lose time and again when it mattered most.He still lives on the glory of a championship he won back in the '80's at the lower end.James Monroe still has no trophies to display after 16 years.I once heard an old player of Jackson's say that Jackson told him he would rather lose than win with a player from the upper end.Sadly I believe his actions prove that to be true.The treatment of players is so one sided it's pathetic.The boys deserve better than that!Jackson says that he wishes one day he could have players play only offense or defense not both ways.Every year though,50 to 60 players are one the sideline but only a select few play offense,defense and special teams,and it's not the best athletes or the most talented players.It's his friends children or his relatives children,but one things for sure they are always from the lower end.It's to late for all of the players in the past but there will be plenty more of them in the future(GO BULLDOGS!).I guess as long as people are content with having a good regular season just to come up short when it really counts it's never going to change.It certainly won't change with Jackson's type of coaching.So lets go James Monroe Pirates,lets win 7,8,9,10 games and get to the playoffs just to lose again.One day a coach will come along who will let boys play based on their talent and ability not on where they live or who their parents are.I just hope I live to see the day it happens because all of the boys,past,present and future who have worked their butts off with a hope of getting a fair chance deserve better than they are getting now!

Marvin Dixon as a football coach?? Now that is a big laugh, this guy never knew anything about coaching football, he just likes to roam the sidelines to make himself feel and look important. He did the same thing at Union and while we were playing there the coaches thought he was a pest. LOL

But it pisses me off to no end to come to a game and watch all of those young men standing on the side line just waiting for a chance to prove themselves!! Their chance never comes because the coaches have their sons and friends sons out on the field!!! Appearntly they aren't getting the job done so what would it hurt to put the sideline kids in?! I will tell you it wouldn't hurt a d--- thing. We are already loosing away so why not try it!? Is it that the coaches like hearing their sons name good or bad!? Boys who started at mt view are standing on the sidelines not getting to play while the ones that stood on the sideline in middle school are getting to play high school. Don't understand it!!! Grandpa up in the stand pointing out the other boys mistake when the grandson is messing up just as much !! Maybe grandson should have to walk the sideline for a bit. At the JV game Monday night a JM boy patted the other teams guys as he ran by him for a TD. What was that about?? But I guess that boy has the correct last name bottom line win lose or draw things need to change. Play everybody check things out because a boy with out a butt kissing name may turn out to be your super star player. Sad thing is he may never get the chance to prove it because he doesn't have the right name or mom and dad doesn't believe in butt kissing. you are so right, what can be done to fix this problem with these so called coaches, and get the players, some are seniors that are as good as the rest on the field, and if anything is said to the to the wrong person, then the kids catch it at practice, and they still dont get to play, we got better players on this team , and with better coaching we could play a lot better, but not with the staff we have now..........
