Anyone know of a Pain Management Dr. willing to prescribe narcotics to a real chronic pain patient? Had been with prev. Dr. for 7-8 years and have been looking for months for a legit. compationate PM Dr.- Anyone help - willing to travel an hour in any direction from Union area.

can you not get a referral from your old pain management doctor? I moved here several years ago from another state and my pain management doctor found me a doctor in Spartanburg and set up a referral for me...

I don't understand if you have been with your previous PM Dr for 7 or 8 years why won't he/she give you a referral to another doctor.. sorry, but something doesn't sound right. If you have internet you can google PM doctors or even look in the telephone book or better yet have your family doctor give you a referral.. best of luck to you
