Fatal Collision in the Skies Over Darke County

One man is dead and another injured after a mid-air collision in Darke County. Police say a powered parachute flown by 56-year-old Terry Price of Arcanum collided with an ultralight plane piloted by 66-year-old Thomas Jackson of Arcanum just before 9 p.m. Monday night over Arcanum Ithaca Road and Grubbs Rex Road in Darke County.
