Lawyer says man on trial in Elizabeth beating death participated in attack
ELIZABETH - The attorney for one of six people accused in the 2006 slaying of a 29-year-old Elizabeth resident acknowledged in court Thursday that his client was the one who caught the victim before the man was stabbed with a knife and beaten with a bicycle outside a notoriously rough public housing complex in Elizabeth.

That used to be a safe neighborhood until they desegregated it in the 1980s. That figures!! They let the coloreds in the neighborhood goes down the f---ing drain. They should have just left it the way it was.
