can anyone tell me which hotels are safe and which arent. my family and i are driving up there next week and plan on spending the night. we have two small kids and i dont want to stay somehwere that someone is turning tricks at. i would prefer one that has an indoor swimming pool because my son burns really bad in the sun.

The Embassy Suites are the best, try them. You also get free breakfast buffet, or cook to order.

There is a Super 8 Motel (recently remodeled) that has a brand new indoor swimming pool. It is on Dream Street in Florence.
