Nursing Home Accused Of Deadly Abuse, Neglect

I have worked for carespring for a few years now. I have been through hell and back. I work harder there than I ever have at other facilities. Yes, it is beautiful and they do have a great rehab program. They have just started carrying more staff. For the first years I worked there we had much less staff on hand. Of course more staff does make it easier but carespring asks a lot for the paycheck you recieve. There is no down time even now with more staff. I am sure that some of the administrative staff and management are very caring and attentive to the employee needs but at my facility that is not the case. I wont even speak to our director. It is always an abrasive reaction that I just simply avoid.

I eorked for cares springs here in erlanger im sorry to say but i was appauled at how some of the aides trated some of the residents, hopefully it has improved. In one case an aide gave a resident a foo dthat they were not suppose to have as well as she was on thickend liquids, also we had a patient that had alzheimers and whould yell for her daughter all day and heard aides say hush your parents are dead or have no patients with her..Or were ppl had sores and you bring it to attention but yet they soak in their depends till morning..Im sorry but no elderly person deserves to live their life out that way..Other things happened as well..residence have rights and should know them all, that is their house..Then be told no all was fine..I only worked there a short time i couldnt stand it and was my first job in it to know if this was normal.Id never put my grandma there..I sure hope this place has done a turn around..
