If you're looking for lies, give it up. I don't deal in that crap. But I would like to know why the 2 groups are not intergrated? Can anyone tell a believable-enough lie to explain it?
First, not all lodges are segregated. It does tend to be a little more prevalent in the South (note: this is just anecdotal. I don't have any actual stats), but there are plenty of lodges on both sides of the Mason-Dixon that aren't segregated.
Apart from that, it's mostly tradition.
Beyond that, yeah, I'm sure there are some racist Masons. But you can just deal with it. There are racist Jaycees, racist Rotarians, and racist Christians. You can't judge the entire organization based on the beliefs of a few members. If you did, you'd probably hate every organization that ever had the privilege to exist.
And if you still have a problem with segregated Masonic lodges, you'll also be happy to know that there are plenty of black and female organizations out there. You should probably have a problem with them, too.
