What kind of a mother does nothing to accept responsibilty for her 14 year old daughters pregnancy other than claim its not her fault? Really dumb ass bitch?...you let your daughter date a 17 (now 18) year old loser and its not your fault. Pack your bags bitch cause you are going to to hell!

Its the parents fault, mostly the moms. They think its cute, but its sad. Babies having babies. I know a mom that her daughter got pregnant and just had the baby not to long ago. She pretty much turned her back on her daughter, the poor girl moved out. The mother is a total *****, but I cant blame the girl anyway, best thing she did was get away from her crazy momma.

Apples don't fall far from the tree. Look at both set of parents involved . Anyone that will let their daughter boyfriend move in, is in my opinion asking for it. Both set of parents should be ashamed. What kind of examples are we setting? Just plain pitiful!

Sweetie, you gotta tell your mom. If you're afraid to talk to her alone, find an adult friend to be there with you. You know better than I do what your mom's reaction is going to be, but the bottom line, is I imagine, and that she loves you enough to help you deal with this pregnancy in a healthy way. Technically, the guy is guilty of statutory rape, even though you lied to him about your age; this may not be 'fair', but in most jurisdictions that's the way it is. He does need to be responsible for child support, but may ask for DNA proof that your baby is his baby. You have catapulted into responsibilities an adult would find hard to deal with, and I'm sorry for that. Just don't ever again be in a situation where you are faced with bringing a child into the world before you are really prepared for it...not that anyone who hasn't been a parent can be. I wish you the best of luck and happiness.

Yes I feel like these kids this day in time are being neglected alot more. Parents need to stop being friends and be the parent and role model they should be. Its not just the boys fault its the girls as well. SOME think they can mess around but eventially they will get burnt badly. I think the young girls should have to face the consequences just as much as the boys. Stat. rape come on, it takes 2 to tango. Its sad that more and more parents and grandparents are having to care for there kids and grandkids. Sure TennCare and foodstamps are very easy to get. Why not just let the taxpayers pay for there actions its easy. If Tennessee doesn't do something about paying for a free way we are going to be more in the hole than what we are now. Its so easy for the ones who get this stuff than it is for the ones who work there tails off for a long time to get it when needed. The post above is so right somewhat. Yes you need to speak up to your mom.

You're the one that spread your little legs so you have to deal with the consequences. You knew what you was getting yourself into. Instead of worrying about the d*ck you should've been worrying about your education. Too late now cause you chose to be a wh*re instead. I'm so sick of my tax dollars going out to f*cks like you that don't know how to keep their god d*mn legs closed. And I don't care if I get b*tched at about this or not cause I know alot of people would agree with me on this. F*cking sl*t

15 year old girls were getting married a starting families up until the early 1900's. The difference is that they were a lot more responsible back then and so were the parents. Mom and dad were usually both there to raise these children too. Most 15 year olds today are truly babies. Common sense and morals are the two things that are different now. Kids are not taken to Church as much now either and that does make a difference. Yes it is the parents fault now, instead of raising kids they want to be their best friends.

Its sad that these young girls had these kids and now they dont even take care of them. I saw one of those girls at the football game the other night, the baby isnt even a month old and the momma is already out running around. Left the baby with god knows eho. Sad , she needs to be reported to DHS?

Last time I checked DHS would not step in because you left your child with a baby sitter. I have done that several times with my child. Good grief! Call DHS and report her for going to a ballgame and leaving her baby with a baby sitter??? How stupid are you??

Where I grew up, we had a catholic school and a private school run by the Pentecostal church... 95%,of those girls were closet wh0res... There was more sexual promiscuity there than the city's public school and surrounding areas. I doubt if church and religion would help this situation at all.

I feel sorry for the babies brought into this world by babies... and their grandparents usually have to raise them. A long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, people took responsibility for their actions. Some women married at age 14 and if they became pregnant, they had little choice but to stay with their husbands and usually by the time they were 21, they had 3 or 4 kids -- think they went running home to Mama and Daddy? NOPE!!

Maybe when people find out what causes pregnancy, they can be taught to take precautions. Then again, some girls are too lazy to take a pill every day, but they have enough energy to spread their legs. Sometimes I think that they believe that if they get pregnant, they are automatically an adult and can do what they please. Pathetic.

I did it, been with my baby since the day he was born. It was hard at times, but I held my head high for my child, I had to grow up fast, and never let anyone keep him untill he was 13mnths old. So all this talk about young mothers isint true about every young mother. I wish the 14yr old all the best, and pray she will have a healthy, happy pregnancy, and birth & baby. Godbless all young mothers and their children.

Do ur best not to stress, and yes tell your mom, she may be upset and disapointed but shes your mom, she still loves you no matter what. I was 16 &pregnant, gave birth at 17. I was scared to death, but the best thing I ever did was tell my grandmother and my sister, then my grandma told my mom for me, after that I was so relieved that I didnt have to hide it anymore, and I had full support from my family, friends and father of the baby. In the end were still going strong with two children, and happily married. My advice, give the dad a oppoutunity to be there for u and yalls child, ya never know he might surprise everyone. Everyone told me my man wouldnt stick by my side, and he did. 12 years and counting, good luck hunny. &remember honesty is best policy.

One of the biggest problems we have in this country is people simply accepting things that are NOT okay! Heck...we don't simply accept teenage pregnancy...we REWARD it!! Free medical care, WIC, food stamps, free housing, daycare centers in public schools, college grants, etc. These kids are getting pregnant because they have no reason not to. People used to have pride, shame and self respect...now they have "baby's daddies" and food stamps. What happened to morals and personal responsibility? I guess they were replaced by entitlements paid for by the taxes only HALF of American workers are forced to pay.

By the way...if you are having unprotected sex you did not get pregnant by "accident" or make a "mistake". You chose to engage in an activity that has consequences. Lucky for you the government makes us pay for the consequences of YOUR actions. At least it does right now. We are running out of money fast. Too many takers and not enough givers. Who do you think is going to suffer when we do run out of money? I'll give you a hint...not us!

I got pregnant at 16.. I had him after I turned 17.. It wasn't my parents fault.. They were always there for me.. I was the irresponsible one in the situation.. I was the type of person where I wasn't about to let someone raise my child for me.. I am his mom & don't want him looking to someone else & calling them mom.. He is now almost 7 & the smartest child:) When you have a child at an early age, you do put yourself in a bind, but you are the one who chooses how it's gona turn out for you.. I never once applied for foodstamps.. I still went to school even tho it was home school & got my diploma.. I work hard every single day to make sure he has what he needs.. I grew up with him & learned a lot by what I went thru.. Some daddys stay & some turn their back on you & the baby.. You are a woman & don't have to depend on some man to be there for you.. Yeah, it's hard at times, but you gota face reality & say "I want bigger & better things for me & my child" then make it happen:) Best of luck to you:)
