Might make sense to set a non union shop there at mimimum waged jobs
Those Bozos will take any job soon enough and if the minimum wage laws can be eliminated the plant might even make it

I was never on goodyears payroll
I would be ashamed to be on it
Imagine someone as smart as I am associated with the losers there
Now go back to your beer dreaming about how you are going to get a new job when the rest of us know you will not
It is so disgusting knowing I will be paying taxes to put food on your table though

Olive Garden is coming to UC! It will occupy the new IKEA's outlot, and will be located on land immediately adjacent to the new Discovery Park.

Things are looking up. I always knew they would.

I can't wait!!

Are we playing fantasy land today?

Cool.

I heard they're putting in a Unicorn ranch right next to the Olive Garden and new Cooper Tire plant.

I can't wait! I've always like unicorns, they're so nice.

Is he full of hot air or gas? If he full of gas, a good fart will take care of that. If full of hot air, too bad. Fart won't help him.

Ikea is a furniture/ home decor store usually in large metro cities such as chicago and atl. They have really cool and modern stuff so I would be suprised if they came here. Usually there has to be a certain population before a store like they would come.

Some of you people are so freaking delusional. There is NO way businesses such as IKEA or Olive Garden would open in an area with a population as small as this.

Studies have confirmed that NW TN contains the preferred demographic for IKEA: An intelligent, well-educated populace with a penchant for the finer things of life, plus a healthy amount of disposable income.

The location is a plus, as well. IKEA will draw customers from St. Louis, Memphis, Nashville, Little Rock and Louisville, making Union City a retail hub for the SE US.

IKEA generally buys a large piece of land with the footprint of a Super Walmart. But it's two stories, EACH the size of a Super Walmart. Furniture. Home decor. In every configuration. Day care, massive elevators, restaurant, coffee bar, the whole nine yards. The Promised Land of the well-heeled, highly educated masses. Like other big retail establishments, it will sell or lease lots from the property it has purchased. In this case, the Olive Garden will occupy one of the outlots.

Between the Discovery Park, IKEA, and Olive Garden, UC will be ON THE MAP as a regional tourist/shopping destination.

Your right! UC will be the biggest, shopping, and the best tourist spot in the Southeast!

UC is going down the drain faster than you all know it. It might somewhere down the road become one of those hillbilly towns where people come to gawk and stare at the locals because of how they live
Drive through towns like Cairo Illinois or Detroit Michigan and you will see your future
Running Goodyear out of there was the biggest mistake you inbred morons ever made in your lives
