Can anyone tell me your thoughts on her? She did surgery on my shoulder and it is messed up. Are there any success stories with her?

So sorry about your shoulder. Dr Glidewell saw my husband back in 2008. He was had severe shoulder, back and hip pain. She told him to get out of his wheelchair and go back to work there was nothing wrong with him. He passed away 5 mo later with lung cancer which had went into the bone. I know she is only human but she could have ran at least one test.

OMG I'm so sorry to hear that! The sad thing he was in so much pain and she made a mockery out of her profession. Did you ever confront her?

Dr. Gladwell's partner done a simple surgery on my elbeow to move a nerve. It has been almost a year and is still not healded. It is messed up forever and when I tried to go back to have it seen about, I was told I was no longer a patient of theirs. Neither of them are the best of doctors.

Just a question. Did you follow all her instructions? Do you smoke? Smoking slows healing time and if you did not follow all instructions then some of the fault may very well be your own.

Yes I followed all instructions. I was actually told by one of the doctors in the office that "I just need to grow up and stop crying about it at some time". The doctors in that office suck

You must work at Kohler. I was basically told the same thing. Kohler sends all their employees with pain to her. She tells them what Kohler pays her to tell them. I had horrible back pain for 2 weeks before they sent me to her. It hurt so bad it made me sick to my stomach. She did nothing but talk to me and felt on my back when I went to her office. No xrays, tests, etc... And Brian Hayes sit in there during my visit. He's not family so why should he be allowed? She referred me to Starr where I had to do stretches and lift and pull on stuff. Even the physical therepists told me they didn't know what good it did. For all she knew I had a slipped disc. I keep telling Kohler I was hurting and felt that what had been done so far wasn't working. They told me to get my own doc. I finally just gave up and worked through the pain. To this day I can't sit or stand too long. Thanks Dr. Gladwell for caring more about padding your pocket with Kohler's money than taking care of your patients. But she is hott.

Kohler does not pay Dr. Gladwell--I know for a fact. I also know that xrays are ALWAYS taken at her office. BTW there is a Glidewell and a Gladwell so get your story straight before you post.

She operated on my knee few years ago, she and her staff are great people and everything is great now. I followed orders and went to rehab, maybe some of you should do the same and quit complaining! Grow up and get a life!

Then how does she get paid? Through Kohler somehow, right? And no xrays were taken. I haven't had an xray since 2005. I saw her in late 2007. I walked into the office with bryan hayes, sat down, read a magazine, went back to her with bryan, she had me take my shirt off, she felt my back, said it MAY BE a strained muscle, prescribe flexiril, and had me go to Starr. After a couple of weeks I told Bryan that I couldn't take the med's while I was working because they put me in a daze and the pain was worse. He told me to continue going to Starr or get my own doctor. I said screw it and worked through the pain. That was almost 3 yrs ago, I don't work for them, and the pain is still there.

So, your logic is just because you didn't have a problem, no one else did? You are the one who needs to grow up and quit acting like a child.

all you have to do is TELL THE DOCTOR you do not want any one in exam with you. this includes company rep. or ins. rep. they may try to bluff you but keep telling them you only want DR & STAFF in room. report them if they do not ask rep. to at least step out in hall. they will report to reps. what they haved told you as they have to do this but you have the right to DR. & STAFF only in exam with you.
