They are awesome! Especially Larry! He will do anything possible to help you out! You must of been a plan out grouch. I wouldn't help you out either unless you had a better attitude about the situation. You can get problems with a new car just as bad as a used one. He can't predict how long the vehicle is going to drive without having problems. Just like he can't predict how long you are going to live only God can. Think about it. Pray on your dicision before you make a choice like that one again. You get what you buy! Used and it probably didn't have a life like a new one with a long warranty. Stop taking chances. Save up for a new one with a warranty.

We just purchased our third vehicle from them. They are great and good to work with. If we have ever had a problem with anything they have taken care of it.

I have bought 7 or 8 trucks and they have all been good ones. You need to look at what you are buying did you get a 500 dollar car? You get what you pay for no matter what it is. I had a truck for awhile did some changes fixed it up and they give me almost everything I paid. And what i got was a good truck to. Any problem I have ever had was fixed with in reason. People come in and want to treat their stuff like crap and expect someone else to pay. No matter what has happend you can find many customers who come back over and over again

I bought a used car from there back in 2005 and paid 10,000 for it. It was in wonderful condition and I never had any trouble out of it.
Just remember...you pay for what you get.

I don't care where you go, you can buy a car from anywhere and it not be a good car. My husband works at a dealership and he has seen people buy brand new cars and they have come right back with problems. That's just anywhere. Midtown Motors has never done us wrong and we have had 3 vehicles from them! Plus, before you buy a car or truck you should always get it looked at by someone who knows what to look for just in case. Also, get a Carfax just for reference. But, they are great people to work with, all of them!

Cute nickname and all, but if it beard repeating, it's actually "Larry the Liar"

We bought there and I was not satisfied. They saw a female and automatically thought they could talk down to me. Not so.

We ended up selling them the car back, same price. Among many things, it had AC problems. After they bought it they had to replace the AC before it would sell. So they were out money. And that was justice enough for me.

" The facetious one" - Maybe you should have taken someone with you who knew what they were doing? Why would you ever buy a car without checking it out? I'm a women and have gotten great deals through them.

I never said I bought a car without test driving or checking it out! Way to assume, dear. I said they thought they could talk p me like a dumb little girl, and I'm not. My husband was there when the car was bought also. Whenever thy would turn to me, it was completely different. And when I brought it back because something thy said was fixed wasn't, they spoke down to me then as well.

A woman doesn't need a man with her 24/7 to be treated fairly, you know. We're people, too. Are you trying to perpetuate stereotypes?

Anyhow. We traded the car back and lost nothing, and all's well that ends well.

No I'm not trying to perpetuate sterotypes, you're funny though. All I'm saying is guys usually know more about vehicles, you know that and I know that and apparently so do they. I'm glad it all worked out for you. All I can say is I've had nothing but good experiences with them.

well from what it reads above mostly everyone said they had trouble with their purchase Midtown at least tried to make it right. They are not going to lose money on the sale of a USED vehicle and anyone thinking that they should needs to call around and see if they can find a dealership new or used that would be willing to go in the hole and buy their vehicle there. I have done business with them and yes bought a vehicle with problems traded it back and recieved full credit for it on trade. They will do what they can but they are a business just trying to make it.

That's true. I didn't come out on the bottom of the trade.

And it is true, men (generally) do have upper hand on car knowledge.
