While Obama is mourning the loss of three muslim brothers I am glad the handcuffs were finally taken off of the Navy and they were allowed to rescue this brave American. Good for the Navy. Folks, this is only the beginning. The weakness the obama administration has displayed since his election will only foster more and more incidents. Hold on.

Walk into your bathroom. Open up the medicine cabinet. Swallow everything in sight. Go take a nice long nap.

To all the whining unpatriotic right wing nut conservative slobs, who wanted this mission to fail so you could wag your fingers at Obama, shame on you. You owe your president and your country an apology.

Sure took a long time to load up his teleprompter. This would have been over days ago under Bush

Yup.

Obama should have put up a "Mission Accomplished" banner, and just called it a day.

Stop sniffing your own farts.

This has nothing to do with Obama, and everything to do with the competence of the Navy and the Navy seals.

You are a fool! This should have been done at the outset. Obama has no spine, and caved in to the pressure...Where were the Senators from Vermont during this whole time??? Congrats to Capt Phillips and his crew...time for action, not the waffling wishy washy political decisions coming from the white house...

Great post.

A wonderful mix of humor and some dead-on commentary.

I, too, believe that this would not have happened under GWB's watch since he was perceived, by many, as a war-mongerer whereas our enemies know that BHO is weak and a pacifist.

The real question now is whether BHO will allow the U.S. military to finish the mission and wipe out all the pirates or will he call on an 'international' coalition of nations, with the assistance of the U.N. no doubt, to resolve things?

Great job USN Seals and Capt. Phillips!
This particular incident or its resolution had nothing to do with BO. But going forward, BO needs to step up to the plate and insure that every ship flying the US flag in these waters is protected.

Naturally Obambi could not utter the phrase: "Americans do not negotiate with terrorists" since that is his new foreign policy philosophy with real enemies like Iran. easy to be a tough guy with a few sand-giners ..

So because GWB won the past two elections, you have been a loser for the past eight years? That would be consistent with what I have heard about you.
