I'm curious why they would do such a stupid thing. Were they trying to rob her. The article didn't say that. Hard to imagine a woman walking with her 2 grandkids and some guy just comes up and throws her to the ground. He sounds really unstable if that's the case

I'd have to agree that it was because of drug addiction this happened. And for the woman to stand there and not try to stop him that's just plain old wrong even if she was with him the look of terror in those kid's faces should have made her have a change of heart. There is a cell in Cheshire waiting for both of them and if they don't get caught it's ok cuz God don't like ugly and what goes around comes around.....
