Says the moron who will not put blame on anyone as long as there is an excuse. I guess if this alcoholic was drunk and ran your mother over, you would probably be in the news to say not to blame her, she is a good person, it was the alcohol that made her do it.
(I know, I am replying to idiots)
I'll give you another chance to look beyond your flip responses to show you have SOME depth. C'mon, try answering just one of the questions. It will show you actually read my comments and have something of value to add rather than simply looking for an opportunity to use hurtful words.(exactly what IS that feeling you get when you do it? Please don't tell me it's intelligence or we've got bigger problems than an officer stealing money!)

Have you ever met an alcoholic who was of good character?
Have you ever met a person who's sinned but is moral?

Poor leadership=poor internal controls?
Q. And who is in charge of the police?
A. The town government!
Q. And who is charge of the town government?
A. The Manchester Republicans!
Manchester Republicans = Poor leadership=poor internal controls = Manchester Republicans.
A fish rots from the head down.
Give it a REST!

The democrats have been in control of town government for so long they've lost all sense of reality, and have no concept of what this town wants.

Who hired the Chief of Police? Hmmm.... ahhh... democrats

Man, talk about immature. Two left the sandbox within months of not being part of the majority and the other "children" are still saying the sky is red at evvvveeerrryyy opportunity.

Take it from a democrat... they'd be wise to take a coarse in maturity and open their ears and eyes soon or there won't be any left on the board come next election. The town of manchester - overwhelmingly registered democratic - voted republican. Take that as a blunt message about rotting fish.

And to you... it's simply moronic to try and make this issue about politics.

You are no Democrat....if you were you would know how to spell. The word in this context is "course" not "coarse".

And the Republican fish head is rotting. We are on to you and the stunt you played with the sanitation fund. Pretty slick of you people taking down the Courant post where your schemes were exposed to the people.

If you can't stand up to a silly old Courant post you Republipukes will not know what hit you when we roll out our campaign.

God bless Mike Farina and the Manchester Democrats!

Hmmmm... I'd like to say you are the first perfect person I've encountered (your vocabulary and english composition expertise is AMAZING!) but the your willingness to correct others so readily and superiorly says so much MORE about your character that removes you from that category.(sorry). If you truly represent the face of the democratic party of Manchester, they'll be hardpressed to hold onto the seats they currently have. You feel compelled to correct others to build yourself up,(what a pitiful person), and turn around and use the term "you people". You might want to rethink your tactics.

btw. I am a democrat and there are many more like me. You've definitely distanced yourself from me and my views (thank God!) but, alas, you making a statement doesn't make it so. You can plug your ears and cover your eyes like a child but we both know it doesn't make the situation any different. I'm still a democrat and the democratic party is Manchester is disfunctional right now (and you're still and idiot).

If Mike Pohl saw your comments, I'd like to think he would distance himself from such useless, inflammatory comments. Maybe not.

You have proven your (lack of) character and the (lack of) depth you possess in both intelligent conversation and humility. I'm glad you don't identify with me. Thanks for pointing out the differences so clearly for all to see.

PS - not ignorent, it's ignorant. Don't be so ignorant. BTW, I don't hold thieves in high esteem like you do.

I have no opinion on whether gambling can be an addiction, and have been lucky to not experience a friend or family member throwing away everything they own in pursuit of a win. However, when someone in her position does what she has without regard to her career, victims, or (inevitable) consequences I can only believe that she got caught up in something beyond mere rationality. She needs treatment AND punishment.

I think she should get time off for being a smoking hot babe.

She's a delightful person, gambling addiction notwithstanding. And a smoking hot babe. You should definitely get leniency if you're a smoking hot babe. Have you been to Manchester lately? Not exactly a haven for the beautiful people.
