Why? Last time I was there, I could't even win a dime. This was the first time that I won NOTHING. Even when I have a bad morning, I have a good afternoon; and vice versa. But I had nothing but losses, so obviously the machines now have turned in Mohegan Sun's favor.

You are stupid for going there or any casino. So quit complaining. The white man screwed the Indians and now they are getting even. HAHA!!! DUMMY.

Why?? Read all the stories then figure it out for yourself. Last year at this time the casino had slot revenues of 61 million. Now down to 54 million. I guess that profit isn't enough. Screw the indians. They tightened up the machines so we lose more.

what is not being reported is the main cost cutting item put in place. Slot units have been re- configured at both Foxwoods and Mohegan casinos so as not to produce a "jackpot".Winnings of any kind have been very, very limited to also most be impossible to extract any winnings at all. The term "gambling" has now been referred by customers as making a "donation" to the casino. Of course the media will not report on this cost cutting item as it does the state no good to reveal this cherade.

So Rell, this means even LESS monies that will flow, so will you and your cohorts dig deeper in our pockets?
Why not just stop giving welfare & other benefits to illegals?

Try cost cutting first.

The cop who shot the POS in East Hartford just saved our state a ton of money, have some balls and do the same to the Cheshire murders - also wack Peeler as well!

I think New Haven should adopt this money saving strategy. All of those city employees make way too much for what they do.(ie $18 an hour to collect coins from the parking meters)

Let's not begin to think that this is an indian issue. The casinos are a bunch of businesses that take advantage of the existing laws to make money. They are not in it for indian culture and values, they are in it for the cash. Look at the board of directors of these "nations" and I'd bet you'd not recognize anyone as a direct discendant of an indian nation. They are all 1:10 at best.

The state goes along because they negotiated their cut of the profits.

If you work at a casino start looking for other jobs. It can't be a good sign when the guys above you are taking pay cuts.

If you go to casinos you should continue to go if you see it as paying for entertainment, not as a way to make money. As was said they control the payout ratios of the slots, you can't beat them. If you must gamble, don't complain. You are only giving your money away by choice. I choose not to.

do you other employees see what the techs do . maybe not. here try this . why dont you dealers try laying on a floor smelling like piss shit . spit. and any thing else you can think of . just look at what we do . we dont just walk around . we have trades . but .we need to work right. as i ramble .some of us never worked weekends . but now we will . not mad . but now they will be changing our hours again for the 3rd time . i cant get my sleep or any thing else right . we have lives also. o yeah . they made some of us guards in and out side . traffic controll valet . how would you lie that . be a dealer one day guard the next . sucks . screew having a job . that sucks . we should all walk out of that dirty nasty drug infested place. do you really look arround and see where you are working .

I work hard for my money and find no entertainment in losing it to the indians. I'll save it in case I lose my job. The "tribes" are a plague and their casino's an unsightly stain on the landscape...
