All a matter of one's perspective perhaps ...

Mr. Kintner's review is most certainly less than positive. To be fair, I am not familiar with this reviewer's prior critiques of Celtic music. That is, it is not clear whether he posses the background necessary to critique the type of music Celtic Woman presents. The presentation is different - the viewer needs to appreciate the approach taken by this group.

I have seen the Celtic Woman twice and will see them in a couple of weeks in Boston. The members continually change as individuals spin off for solo runs or other obligations. This year is no exception. In addition, this is a new tour with the east coast kick off last night at Mohegan Sun.

From the Celtic Woman page on Facebook, which I suggest for anyone interested in seeing and listening to their presentations, I have copied and pasted below three recent posts. These posts suggest that this review in the Courant may not be representative or balanced.

"I just watched watch their Isle of Hope concert tonight at the Mohegan Sun, and it was so AMAZING!!!! I got to see them after the show to get their autographs and shake their hands. They have to most angelic voices you will ever hear. I can't wait to see them again at Mohegan Sun next year"

"I saw the show on wednesday and it was amazing!!!! I don't think the English language has a word to describe the awesomness of the Isle of Hope show!!! I Loved It!!!!"

"I just saw the Isle of Hope tour in Pittsburgh, PA with my mother last night. The show was simply amazing. The girls, the band and everyone involved did a great show. I can't even use enough words to write what a wonderful experience it was, and I am glad that my mom choose to share it with me. ALSO, we met David Downes and he was very nice and curtious to my wanting him to sign my program! I hope I get a chance to see them again(in person, I have all of the DVD's!)"
