Pizza parlor owner jailed on child porn charges
UNADILLA _ A Unadilla pizza restaurant owner was accused Wednesday in Federal Court in Binghamton with making pornographic videos of sex with a child.
Americo A. Martinucci, aka Tony Martinucci, 65, of Sidney Center, was charged with one count of Production of Child Pornography, a federal offense. He was arraigned, his plea was delayed and he was sent to the Broome County jail without bail.
According to federal attorneys, the charge resulted from videos made at his former pizza parlor in Franklin, where in 2003 he allegedly videotaped himself having sex with a girl less than 11.
In October, Martinucci, who owns Tony’s Pizzeria in Unadilla, was charged with first-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse for allegedly having sex with a child younger than 11 years old in 2003, according to state police at Sidney.
The arrest Wednesday was the result of a joint investigation involving the FBI, the U.S. Attorney's Office, state police and the Delaware County District Attorney's Office.
State police at Sidney are continuing to seek information from the public in an ongoing investigation into the rape and pornography charges, troopers said Wednesday
