Sounds like Tiger Mom has it all figured out.

I say we eliminate Eco Devo, Call Wal Mart and tell them to quit bluffing us and go back to Arkansas, quit trying to make improvements of any type that might make anyone want to come and locate their business in Ulysses, Call Nexsun and tell them that they were stupid for trying to put an ethanol plant here and that we don't want them anymore, stop the hospital project right now.

Hell, lets do away with trash service and let people take their own to the dump, send all of the Fat policemen home (that includes you Mike Hernandez), and shut off the street lights at night to save money.

Too bad Tiger Mom won't let anyone know who she is. I have yet to see one comment from her that was encouraging or intelligent.

But, I guess I'm on this site too so what more can I exect.

I do appreciate you people that post encouraging things or thought that have a little substance behind them.

If I were as empty as Tiger mom, who thinks whe is being entertaining, I'd kill myself.

Have you ever thought about getting help? Your answer doesn't even make sense.

Many times people like you need to be re-evaluated. After you have taken your medication for a long time, your body needs something else because your current medication doesn't seem to be working.

They have maintenance drugs that actually allow you to read a sentence, and hold that thought long enough to give a response that makes sense or is relevant.

You are only entertaining yourself, and that's a dangerous sign.

And what about Sarah Palin. She's 44 years old and seems to be a good person.

I think KFC has a fighting chance now. Those who have been here long enough can remember what the other place looked like. It was small, don't remember anything about the conditions it was under, but I heard it wasn't good.

I think we have the pull from surrounding communities to sustain some more places to eat after Wal-Mart arrives.

my answer makes sense if you use your brain. my current medication has been in short supply since the gang wars on the border started.

It's because we grow up in said town and then move out, find somewhere better and do not want to return to our life there. That being said...I was the one who yelled out at the fair this year. "Bye Ulysses, see you next year!" I was wrong I'll be there in a hour.

With all the "mexican trucker" defending that is completely uncalled for and rude stereo typing! I happen to like KFC and I'm the whitest person you will ever meet. I think that if any of these places come to town it will be better than what we have. It will be nice to not have to drive 50 miles to take the family out to eat a quick bite after a ball game when you don't feel like cooking. Can we skip the bashing and stick to subject it is kinda nice to know these things.

Tiger mom you are disrespecting the tigers!

Tigers are proud and kind people. As a mother of a tiger you should show some respect to all that live in this community. I think that maybe you live in Garden Cityor a nearby community, and this is why the rude behavior towards the people of Ulysses. For no Tiger or person who is related to a tiger is a bad person. Tiger mom you are disrepecting the Ulysses Tiger name. Avenger I believe is trying to fight for the good people of Ulysses. He has respect for this community, and I applaude him for fighting the good fight.

To drive 50 miles to find a restaurant that isn't closed at 8pm isn't being a dumb*ss. Now, Ulysses does need something besides McDonalds for a late night munchie attack!

I will believe it when I see it. We are supposed to get a Wal-Mart to. This has been a topic for 2 years. And I have yet to see any signs that anything new is coming. I drive to Garden City because shopping in Ulysses is just to expensive. Even gas is always higher in Ulysses than Garden.
