Is it just me or has the Ulysses Newspaper gotten worse about the spelling and grammer in its arcticles. Last weeks paper had a month old ad in there for the Movies, I thought they were playing Harry Potter again. It seems like every week I read it, there is more mistakes in it. I know nobody is perfect but I don't think they use any type of spell check. If it keeps up I don't think I will renew my subscription.

I agree with you. It seems like the person writing the paper is drunk off their rocker. I know the lady that runs the paper and it wouldn't surprise me one bit. Sometimes when I read the paper it looks like her youngest son spell checked it. Or maybe even that "tough guy" of a husband. I really wish Ulysses could get a dependable PROOF READ paper here before we all turn into idiots from reading that sorry excuse for a paper.

I have seen the mistakes in the paper. Both of them. No one is perfect. But they do need to work on spell checking. I Agree. From some of your comments it seems that your are already an idiot. First, commenting about a child? Get real, did you make it past 1st grade? Second, I don't know her "tough guy" husband, but from what I have heard of him it is probably wise you didn't post your name, but on the other hand, he would probably just send the "youngest son" over and deal with you. You are probalby one of those "stay at home" parents. With all of your 11 kids, food stampsand new SUV parked outside your trailer on the west edge of town.

Actually "Senior Citizen" I have dealt with her husband on more than one occasion. And due to the fact you can't see the anology that I stated was directed towards that the paper looks like it was wrote by a child and not deameaning on her son shows who the real idiot is. It's people like you with your brown noses that causes problems that need dealt with to never change. Your always defending and never changing. How about you take your social security check and give it to the paper so they can buy a program with spell checker. I can take you in my "new suv" if you want me too. Just bring your handicap sticker.

I READ BOTH PAPERS AND ITS NOT ONLY THE ULYSSES NEWS THAT NEEDS SOME HELP IN THE SPELLING DEPARTMENT! I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS SPELL CHECKER IS NOT USED. I USUALLY FIND SOME HUMOR IN THE WORDS THAT ARE INCORRECTLY SPELLED, BUT IT IS ALSO KIND OF ANNOYING. THE GAZETTE IS JUST AS BAD WITH SPELLING ERRORS, AND NOT BEING ABLE TO GET THE RIGHT NAMES WITH THE PICTURES THAT THEY PRINT. WHAT DOES THE EDITOR'S HUSBAND HAVE TO DO WITH SPELLING ERRORS? I THINK HE NEEDS TO BE LEFT OUT OF THIS AND THE EDITORS FOR BOTH PAPERS MAYBE NEED TO SEE IF THEY CAN HIRE SOMEONE WITH AT LEAST A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA!

I would assume you are someone who is very jealous of the publisher of the paper, otherwise why would you post such mean and nasty things here?

There is a very large difference between being jealous and being fed up. And I am fed up. The paper has went to crap after the last couple of months. Even the last issue had several mistakes. It's getting annoying and ridiculous. And once again you have proven my point from my last post of instead of trying to fix the problem you are just defending them. Why defend stupidity? Im sure they notice the mistakes later. So why don't they fix them. One reason. Laziness.

When you are going to be critical of someone, you should take a little time to make sure you have proper grammer.

Have you called your paper's editor? If enough people call maybe they will be more careful in using their spell checker. If proplem continues, cancel your subscription.

Just beacuse it says Montezuma, does not mean we live there. I'm from Ulysses!!!!
