Alright, I have about seen as much as I can stomach. I think it's about time that I leave a message for this "socialist" that keeps posting for no reason. I grew up as a 'so called' farmers daughter in this community. I remember as a young girl my parents wondering and worrying about loans and if they would be able to meet them at the end of year. Or, they would have to take a second mortgage out to cover the farm loan, that's on a note that is only allowing them to have so much money a month. Healthcare?? Are you shitting me?? They are on their own, let me see, with the health problems they have it cost them 1800.00 a month for the premium with a 5000.00 deduct. If a farmer can afford "group" insurance, they have to have 8 full-time employees. Now, let me see the farmers there in Ulysses that have 8 employees to support. Uh, NONE. I am lucky, I have a Cop. job, I make good money and I have health insurance. But thats 'big business, a large company' that gives me these great benefits and salaries. Leave the 'American Farmer' alone, there's not too many of them left, they sure don't need bashed and judged by someone, well such as someone as youself.

Let me add, I bet you are just like me, you work for company that PAYS your health insurance and you get a bonus very year, or maybe even 2 of them. You work 40 hours a week, maybe you work 30 but you still get your salary you signed to. Yes they have a signature to what you will work, and stupid you "the socialst" in you agreed to it. Well, ya hyprocrit. You are no different.

All I hear is blah, blah, and blah. The American Farmer and the rest you individuals all complain about your poor situation. I havenít heard one tearful story about the Latinos who are the backbone of your industry. From the irrigation fields, feed lots and meat packing plants these people have built your part of the State of Kansas. Remember 1.3 billion dollars in 2007 and I hear you complain about health insurance you could have everyone insured in Western Kansas for that amount. Economics 101 if you can not make a profit do something else, donít play farmer on the American Peopleís Dollar. Western Kansas is the only Blog on Topix that have bratty little farmers who believe they deserve welfare while poor whites and Latinos are just lazy food stamp recipients. Being in law enforcement you been through a law enforcement academy right? You know a statement like this on the internet is very unprofessional ďAnd, if you put up that fricken website, you are apparently getting a** fu**** by, don't bother responding. You still have not answered as to why you chose Southwest Kansas to bitch about. Since that 1.3 you are bitching about goes from Elkhart to Goodland then East. It includes all of Western Ks. why us in Southwest Ks. Southwest Ks. did not get all of the 1.3 like you suggest. Nebraska got 1.7 go bitch them out...your rant is very old so go eat dirt or something and get the hell out of Dodge we pretty sick your stupidity and I only which your were such a chickenS***** hiding behins this forum. If you really beleived all this rant and really stood up for it you would indentify yourself.

Thats because your the only one complaining. Everyone else is just complaining about you! Not sure who is more hated in this county, the "Taxpayer" or the tax collector. I will give you credit though, your sticktoitivness is impressive. Too bad you don't channel your energy toward more positive things. Your consistant badgering and negitivity has gotten repetetive and old, not to mention, it has gotton outright boring. You never did answer the question I posed earlier. Are you refusing to cash your stimulus check this year? Are you too proud to accept the welfare you will be recieving? Or will you take the stance, "I'm helping my economy by cashing and spending this check" If you do ANYTHING but refuse the check, then you are the pot, and everyone else is the kettle, and the racist name calling continues. This is getting outright BORING! Next subject please!

yawn...what is it you hope to accomplish? I don't care if it's $600 or $600,000. You either do or don't suckle on the same teet. Will you refuse to cash YOUR welfare check? If it is a Republican ploy such as you suggest, and you are not in support of it, then AGAIN I ask you, will YOU cash it? Will you stand up for the very premise of what you preach, or will you take the "do as I say, not as I do" approach. hmmm???

Also, one more thing, Congressman Moran was quoted as saying "only 26% of the current farm bill payments are made to farmers, whereas 54% is placed in the Food Stamp and Nutrition Programs." Doesn't exactly sound like the farmers are sucking the system dry now, does it? Proposed new legislature is only allowing for 12% of the funds to be paid out to farmers, while 66% will be placed in the Food Stamp and Nutrition Programs. It doesn't exactly sound like the poor are being left out now, does it? When you take the stance that the "poor" need this money more, it starts to sound a little socialistic, now doesn't it?

Where exactly is it that you stand? You jump from one platform to the next...again,....BORING!

I am once again sorry for all the nonsense that I have spewed. Like I said in an earlier post, my counselers here at the mental health facility have got me back on my meds. I will try to quit acting like a complete moron and jackass. But you know how it goes with the insane. Sometimes we flip out. I will probably spew more garbage, but please remember I'm under intense treatment here, so pay it no attention

Ahem, again youíre an idiot, Iím sorry a complete idiot. The government does not supplement my income with subsidies. YOU ARE A IDIOT Ahem, 600 dollar check is not the same as 100,000 dollar check dumb a&&. Do you even understand the macro and micro economic system? Do you realize your no worse then a welfare mother who keeps having illegitimate children? Year after year you need money to keep in business and you still canít turn a profit. You guys even complain about New Orleans but youíll suck year after year from the American People. You try through your ignorance show some brilliance but your light bulb just does not have the watts. Answer the question you might say, yes I will cash the check but everyone equally are getting the funds. Now tell me Ahem, do you think everyone should get a 100,000 dollar check because they can not quite make their check book balance? I answered mine now smarty!

Socialism at its finest is all I can say.

So, where exactly does the buck stop? You don't like the farmer getting the subsidy, right? So, do you hold it against the grocer, when he takes the check from the farmer for groceries? Or do you hold it against the car dealer, when he takes the check from the grocer, who took it from the farmer, who got it from from you Taxpayer? How about when someone buys an aircraft from your company, but lives in Western Kansas. Ah-HA! Now YOU are the one benefiting from the farm program!

p.s. It's good to know that I am no worse than a welfare mother who keeps having children!

Also, you must have forgotten, but I am not in the farming industry. But there are many people other than the farmers that benefit from the farm subsidies. The old saying goes, the more money you make, the more you spend. I'm sure that most businesses in Western Kansas, as well as most businesses in Kansas, period, are more reliant on agriculture than they will ever know. That includes the aviation industry.

Happy suckling!

No one knows more than those that farmed years ago when wheat never went avove a dollar, etc and when it finnally got to over $4 Nixon used the farmers wheat to put an embargo on it agaist Russia so down the price went to again a $1. During the price hike for wheat, the farmers that needed new equipment finally purchased it with the hope that finally they would recieve a good price for their crops. Then the embargo, then how did we farmers make our payments? You people in town criticized every farmer that got a new tractor, or built a decent home finally for their family. As usual when the wheat price increased so did the natural gas for irrigation, parts, etc went sky high, but they never dropped when the wheat price dropped. We worked our behinds off on the farm, kids and wife. I understand the woes that even the farmers that inherited their land went through. Also, we had spanish people work for us, but we paid them as we did the white help. Most generally they worked harder anyway and deserved every penny. As to these gov. payments we never got big checks like these farmers listed. If you notice all the Johnsons and Borthwick are related and they separated the land out so they could get more gov. money as did Smith farms in spray business, sons name and the dad's also. This is taking my breath away as to what they as a family are earning. We are lucky if we make enough to buy health insurance. We started on our own under FHA, earned every penny, rented our land. It is one of the toughest business's a person can do, but oh so rewarding. You don't see many farmers rolling in money. What about our grocery stores. They keep raising their prices and why.I can't afford to eat in this town anymore. Daves and Binneys are going to go out of business if they continue to raise their prices scandelously.$5 for a bottle of salad dressing. A loaf of stale bread is out of sight. Yuk to these two businesses.
