Synopsis: During an investigation into the cultivation of marijuana in the Mendocino Pass area of Covelo, Sheriff's Deputies discovered a marijuana growing operation in the Bauer Subdivision off Mendocino Pass Road, Covelo. Helicopter over-flights were conducted and a few days later one of the deputies involved was contacted by a subject as a representative of suspect Raymond Gage. The subject put the deputy in contact with Gage who then offered goods and cash to keep the deputy from eradicating marijuana which Gage had growing in the Mendocino Pass area of Covelo.

The deputy reported the criminal activity to his supervisor and a meeting was set up with Gage. The Mendocino Major Crimes Task Force took the investigation, conducting a sting operation. During the meeting it was agreed that Gage would provide a vehicle as well as a percentage of the profit from the marijuana cultivation to the deputy. It was arranged to have Gage meet the deputy at the Department of Motor Vehicles and take title to the vehicle. The deputy met with Gage and the title to the vehicle was transferred with a meeting set up to deliver the vehicle on 09/16/2008.

On 9/16/08, at 0730 Gage arrived in the vehicle to turn it over to the deputy at a pre-arranged location in Willits and was arrested. Search warrants were served at his residence in Willits as well as the Mendocino pass location.

Deputies located 365 marijuana plants along with two suspects at the Mendocino Pass location. Officers at the suspects residence located approximately 3 pounds of marijuana along with $2,000.00 cash.

Dennis Raymond Gage was booked into the Mendocino County Jail with a bail increase of $1,000.000.00. The other two suspects were booked on charges of marijuana cultivation. bail $10,000.00.

With 10,000 Plant Grows "All Over the County" as the supervisors describe.
We ask "What are the priorities"?
Why do the Mom and Pops with small grows like the recent bust in Redwood Valley keep occuring??
What is our Sheriff and DA's priorities?
Busting small gardens is only counter productive.

Just loved Pinches and Colfax's response of how the county should be dealing with the 10,000 plant patches, instead of wasting time and money busting "mom and Pops" gardens.
Colfax relays that we should go back to reading the constitution. Pinches says that Measure G was to put the pressure on the large gardens, Measure B worries about the 6-25 plant gardens while 10,000 plant gardens are sucking the eel river dry, he says again " no I don't mean sucking the eel river down, I'm talking about these large gardens sucking the eel river dry". he futhers "were sitting here worrying about gardens of 6-25 plants while there are hundreds of 10,000 + plant crops"
Colfax says- "were not dealing with the 10,000 plant issues, were not dealing with the 5,000 plant issues, precisely because we have limits to what a county can do on those cases, so were picking on the mom and poppers, precisely with those who were out there during the last campaign talkin about save our local economy, I'm not sure if that is what is really about but the fact of the matter is whats happening, were going after the mom and poppers with 6-25 plants. If thats your idea of justice in Mendocino County today then I think we need to go back to reading our constitution."

AMERICAN DRUG WAR : THE LAST WHITE HOPE
WATCH HERE

wow..... The Yes on B coalition really wants the price increase don't they. Maybe they will get the price back up to 5500 pp and the commercial growers who support measure B will make a real killing.
Oh wait, imagine the amount of home invasions and violent robberies that will occur as the price increases. The commercial large scale growers who support the Measure B coalition and who funded the Measure B coalition have alot to gain as more medical patients are forced back into the black market since they will not be able to legally grow enough medicine,
Way to go you corrupt manipulators.
Too bad Measure B-2 wont fly either,
since Measure B is not going to be enforced.
What a waste of County Money and Time trying to criminalize a benign herb, which supports our County as is the largest ag product not only in Mendocino, but the entire State.

Criminals of EVERY flavor have SCAMS.
Want to know THESE PROFITEERS scam?
Here it is, in a nutshell:
They seek to NORMALIZE pot, and drugs in general. To make it appear that their DRUUG INDUSTRY is widely accepted as the NEW REALITY in America.

How do they do this?

The started by establishing a group called NORML. Get it? NORML-ize. That's RIGHT! This group lobbies certain State and Counties, to set up "free-grow zones", where DOPE PROFITEERS are protected FROM the law. They also lobby to keep MARIJUANA illegal everywhere else.

Why?

To create a BLACK MARKET, where these DOPE PROFITEERS can grow their DRUGS, protected by law, and then DISTRIBUTE them everywhere else, for MASSIVE PROFITS.
THAT is the scam. That is the GAME these folks are running on the United States, on California, and on Mendocino specifically!

THAT is why you see so many spamming NORML parrots in these forums. What are they doing? Trying to spam post after post, disinforming the population... to NORMALIZE THEIR DRUG. To desensitize the population.

How did they learn to do this? Simply, it is PSY-OPS 101. Psychological operations, handed down from generation to generation, right from the NAZI war machine.

Here is who these folks really are. See the prejudice FIRSTHAND:
LOOK PEOPLE! SEE THIS TRASH FOR WHAT THEY ARE!

SEE FOLKS? SEE THESE PREJUDICED DOPE PEDDLERS FOR WHAT THEY ARE. PREDATORS. PREDATORS WHO SELL DOPE TO KIDS, FOR A BUCK. HATERS OF ALL WHO AREN'T "WHITE". NEO-NAZI THUGS... OUT TO MAKE A BUCK OFF EXPLOITING CHILDREN.

Thats EXACTLY why I could NEVER support a candidate who supports locking up Medical Marijuana Patients and subjecting sick and dying patients to criminal prosecution for merely having ONE too many plants!

Estelle Clifton 2008!

John McCowen doesn't support Mendocino Medical Marijuana Patients. He believes that Criminal charges should be filed against any who have even 1 plant over the limit!

Mendocino County doesn't need another BUSH REGIME!
Vote for Estelle Clifton Vote for Obama Vote for CHANGE!

Not the McCain McCowen ticket!
Keep Mendocino Free and Green!

Yeah McCowen supports locking up YOUR Neighbors Your Friends and Your FAMILIES!
WHY??
For simply having a couple plants over the limit.

But yet he says nothing about the 10,000 plant Outdoor Gardens on public lands which are sucking our Rivers Dry... As the board of supervisors talk about below..

exactly-
if it's not racist busts of colored folks, it's selective busts of "the lower caste system" Meanwhile, "select" few are allowed to frow 80% of our Counties Crops right under the watchful eyes of law enforcement, a few BIG FISH payin out cutbacks and look the other way cash to the tune of Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars......
Not to mention the demotions and promotions that happened at the time and just before of the Covelo Deputy Suicides of Gore and White.
What kind of Sheriff would promote a deputy to coroner, who was central to the case involving scandal and Department Suicides?
What is to become of the Lawsuit as there has been a Media Black Out.
Measure B is meant to be the distraction, but hey when two deputies commit suicide both times with other deputies preset on the same property there needs to be an independent investigation, THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS AROUND THESE SUICIDES AND THE ENTIRE SHERIFFS DEPARTMENTS COVELO SCANDAL,
OBVIOUSLY WITH TWO DEAD DEPUTIES AND SO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS, ALLMAN OWES SOME ANSWERS TO THE PEOPLE OF MENDOCINO COUNTY, THERE WERE CHARGES OF "KICKBACKS" FROM ORGANIZED CRIME AND ALL THE UDJ HAS DONE IS ONE ARTICLE WHICH THE WRITER WAS PUNISHED FOR WRITING, HELLO!
Questions remain about deputy suicides

SHERIFF'S MEDIA WORKSHOP
by Richard Johnson
On September 15, I attended Sheriff Allman's Media Workshop for reporters with the object of "improving communications" not just on law enforcent but for emergency situations like the fires of the past summer. Allman is an accomplished politician and facilitator who strives to make everyone feel special and included, and he will be running for re-election in two years using precisely those skills.
He's not feeling so warm towards me, however. I really abused his hospitality by asking whether his department was protecting families of law enforcement officials who are growing marijuana and dealing meth.
North End of Hendry property on Della Ave in Willits. Marijuana patch is behind junk pile knocking over fence into neighbor's yard. Desmond Hendry and his girlfriend live in the shack. Here is a case where drugs are causing a nuisance but the City of Willits Police, Sheriff Allman and the Task Force are shining it on.
Hendry's Father, Brother Growing and Dealing
The father of deputy Derrick Hendry who is famous for writing the bad warrant request in Laura Hamburg's case last year is growing marijuana, and Derrick's brother is dealing methamphetamne out of 490 Della Ave in Willits, according to a nieghbor who gave me that information only last Friday.
The site is within 1,000 feet of Blosser Lane School, a violation of the county nuisance ordinance that John McCowen wants to make criminal.
The task force has been there, the neighbor has filed a complaint with Environmental Health, and she told Allman and Willits City Police about it 5 weeks ago. Business as usual, however. I will give the name of my informant to any media representative who will help make it public.
When I dropped this bomb at the Media Workshop, the other reporters cringed. I predict there will be no follow up by the establishment media.
Linda Williams of the Willits News: "I wouldn't be suprised, but how do you prove it?" I asked her how far Della was from her office.
Allman was momentarily enraged but managed to collect himself and treat me for the rest of the morning with civility. I really admire his people skills. The effect of my revelation was of course on the department, as there were three sector commanders there as well as Captain Smallcomb. The father, whose knickname is "Bimbo" no doubt heard about it within hours.
Since then, I have been given additional information about Hendry and I urge you to keep your ears open and keep me informed as we build a dossier on this guy.
Task Force is Independent
This meeting was not a press conference, but Allman did answer a number of marijuana questions I had. Allman clarified that his department has no control over DEA or FBI who are actively working in the north county with the Major Crimes Task Force which is also not under his supervision.
Bob Nishyama is the Special Agent in charge of that and he reports to the state Department of Justice which is paying his salary. There is no COMMET grant this year.
He said he would continue making public the "Measure G Report" of marijuana investigations, arrests, etc, but in January.
No Safe Plant Limit
With regard to the slippery matter of plant count enforcement, Allman said his department was applying the Trippet standard pending a decision of the California Supreme Court in Kelly. That is in each case the amount must be reasonably related to and possessed in a manner consistent with the needs of the patient.
He specifically said he did not consider the Behnke stay in Laguna against the plant count in Measure B to be ruling, only the Kelly decision.
In answer to my question, he stated that he will not issue any more zip ties until the BOS authorizes a fee, and then only in an amount that is consistent with law at that time.

I recently ran across this story about Humboldts’ ruling elites “masonic Temple” in Eureka California. It has been said and recorded that the ruling elite, or Freemasons in Eureka and all over Mendocino and Humboldt counties were responsible for the Massacre of thousands of Native American Indians in and around these counties. Gunther Island in Eureka Bay is one such instance of Masonic Massacre. It has been recorded that on the night that the Indian Island Massacre happened, that there were also raids and Massacres up and down the Eel River as far south as Mendocino County. The Freemasons have had more power in Humboldt and Mendocino Counties than has ever been told before! So check out the story below from http://www.calodges.org/no106/TempleHistory.h...
The story below illustrates that the Massacre of Native American Wiyot Women and Children in Humboldt Bay in the 1850's was perpatrated by freemasons....
"
Another argument for the Indian Island massacre was that the militias might have been reacting to the lack of monetary support from the government. The militias, in turn, attacked the nearest Indian settlement to destabilize relations in the area and force the government’s hand. This theory only exacerbates the horrific nature of the murders. In addition, no one was ever brought to trial for the murders. While Larrabee was not well liked by any one according to Lt. Lynn, he must have held some sway with local power Larrabee was a freemason, as were many of Eureka’s leading businessmen and local civic leaders. AJ Huestis, the county judge in 1860 was a member of Lodge 69.56 The strong fraternal ties of the Masonic Lodges around the bay (already established in Arcata, Eureka, and Hydesville) may have kept Larrabee and the other guilty parties from facing any real penalties."

seems Freemasons have always hurt our local Counties....

Inside The Hamburg Pot Bust
by Mark Scaramella
http://www.theava.com/08/0305-hamburg.html
At a dramatic preliminary hearing for self-described marijuana activist Laura Hamburg last Thursday, retired Superior Court Judge James Luther threw out all the evidence the Sheriff's Department obtained during the execution of a search warrant at the Hamburgs' Boonville Road property. The basis of the October raid, Luther said, was obtained via an "intentional omission" — i.e., it did not properly include Ms. Hamburg's claim that she was a caregiver grower for two (or three) other people.

Ms. Hamburg had been charged with possession of marijuana for sale, cultivation of marijuana for sale and renting a building for the purposes of marijuana cultivation. The raid occurred on October 25th of last year.

According to a transcript of the tape-recorded conversation between lead raid team deputy, Raymond Hendry, and Ms. Hamburg, which was submitted to the court for last week's hearing, it is clear that neither the deputy nor Ms. Hamburg were able to come up with the right dope, so to speak.

Although the case concerned a rather modest grow with a relatively cooperative grower present as tour guide in Ms. Hamburg, some eleven (count 'em) law enforcement officers were on scene as well as the DA's two pot prosecutors, Lee Nerli and Matt Finnegan.

The cops were on property owned by a former Congressman, Laura's father, Dan Hamburg. If they'd been busting a gang of tweakers holed up in a Willits motel it is doubtful if a third of the county's law enforcement capacity would have been present. They certainly wouldn't have been as polite. Deputy Hendry had initially come out to the Hamburg place looking for Matt Hamburg who had apparently violated a restraining order. Hendry noted the presence of devil weed and, clearly, ran back to headquarters with the news that "Wowee Maui we've got Mr. Big! We've got Dan Hamburg!"

Why so many law enforcement people for a pot grow operated by an otherwise respectable family?

The big cop turnout seems to have been in response to (1) that a lot of dope appeared to be growing and processed at the home of a former Congressman and (2) the Hamburg family quickly arranged for the presence of former Assistant DA Keith Faulder who, having been fired from his job in the DA's office the day after his opponent, Meredith Lintott, took office last June after promising during the campaign she wouldn't fire him merely because he'd run against her, has become one of the County's most prominent marijuana defense specialists.

Faulder was summoned to the scene by Ms. Hamburg around the time Deputy Hendry began to question her about her marijuana garden.

According to two unusual interviews conducted by DA Investigator Kevin DeVries with Deputy DAs Finnegan and Nerli, the two DAs were summoned to the scene soon after Faulder arrived. By the time Finnegan and Nerli got to Hamburg's property, most of the Sheriff's Department's top brass was also on scene. Such a large cop turn out at a simple pot bust is unprecedented in Mendo's storied pot-raid history. Sheriff Tom Allman was there for awhile, as was Captain Kevin Broin, Captain Kurt Smallcomb, Lieutenant Rusty Noe, Sergeant Greg Van Patten, at least one other sergeant, and several other deputies besides the intrepid Deputy Hendry.
