I am interested in who was the Sheriff in Boonville and Phillo in 1969 and 1972? I am also wondering if anyone knows the old train houses that were left of the Highway going from Boonville to Phillo in 1969? I beleive these houses were abandoned and not used anymore at that time, however I know that one housed farthest from the road was occupied by 2 men? I also wonder if anyone can recall a retreat where a lot of people from San Frnacisco and the Bay Area went near Boonvile that was a gay retreat? I am not gay, nor now am I against gays; I am trying to find out who the local Doctor was in Boonville in 1969? Yes, something horrible happened and I am looking for closure. I was kidnapped for several weeks at age 14, held captive at that house by 2 men, raped repeately until I became paralyized. A doctor said this was caused by fear and trauma. I was taken to the retreat for several weeks and held until I recovered. Once at the Restaurant and/or Cafe I went outside (while my captors were at the Post Office) and told the Sherriff what happened. I was told that I shouldn't bring this up to anyone as I would be called a fag, etc: for not escaping. I have lived with this and am now 58 years old. I have never been able to put this to rest. All of the parties were gay men! I have been married 34 years with 4 sons. For a long time I blamed myself, and also thought I was gay; so far from the truth. I can't sue and wouldn't. I can't file criminal charges so nothing can happen to anyone. I just want some peace of mind. Please help! I remember the green chain at the Mill, I tried in 1972 to return to solve this. I got the job at the mill, but quit after the first day; not really a country boy sorry. I have been through Boonville for years going to Mendincino, I don't see those houses anymore. Where or what happened to them? I don't blame Boonville, though I do blame the Sheriff. I know it was a different time then. I smoked then and remember them buying me tops tobacco and paper from a little store on the main short 3 block street. In 1972 I stayed at the Boonville Motel, more of a monthly rental back then. Any one who can help me valiidate my memories of that time would be quite satisfying in my poor decling health at the winter of my life? Many Thanks in advance! josephcannonrevilla@gmail.com

This is the only time I have ever mentioned this rape except to the Sheriff. Not even my wife or family knows. I have never even spoke to a therapist. Every time a rape on TV comes on whether it's a woman or man, I still get so angry. Especially towards women who have been raped or the women who support them; as I feel Women just don't care about men who get raped; or some how it's different. I just want to quit hating and feeling so angry at this subject all the time. I want peace! I want to move on! Sorry, just thought this may be more informative on my inquiry? Once again Thanks.
