And you're right. But then again... I never said the oficer was wrong. All I said was to put the blame where it belonged and that isn't the plant.

This is why people are turning against hispanics that once had nothing against them. People like you. You think we're so dumb we aren't aware of what your kind does, you think we dont know that you're a bunch of cowards pretending to be men. Be careful who you go after, all it will take is one of you killing the wrong person and we'll start taking you out one by one with no mercy and no stopping. You can only push some of these good old boys so far before they forget why they are trying to let the government take its course and protect the hard working people of this country. You're about to push the red button and you're not going to like the result.

Common Sense, You need to get a grip in reality. Besides the legal problems with pot ther are others things to consider. I like to hunt and hike. I don't do much of either anymore because I am afraiad of boobie traps and/or getting shot myself. Then there is the impact on the enviroment. The chemicals, litter, water diversions etc. And we as tax payers foot the bill once again. They don't think twice about anything but their crop. They could care less about anyone elses life. Maybe you should tend a few gardens.
Why again is marijuana illegal in the first place? If marijuana were not illegal, why would hordes of undocumented immigrants be invading "your" land?(did you serve your country?) They wouldn't because if everyone was allowed to grow it there would be ZERO demand for it thus no incentive for undocumented immigrants to grow it mmmmkay?

People are killing themselves (without police involvement) to protect their precious plants. Marijuana contributes to peoples lack of motivation and self worth. It’s a DRUG! no excuses. its so mixed up with chemicals these days its nothing like the 60s era of love and happiness. some people trade their so called "legal" marijuana for METH and bring it here and everywhere. People grow their so-called legal marijuana and contribute to minors... that don’t end up going to school, violate their probation, and end up doing other drugs, etc. people shouldn’t be driving under the influence of it.. and people shouldn’t be down at the river or lake smoking it next to my child... I should have a say to, what goes in my body, and what’s around my community or children. People that smoke or grow marijuana, rarely (1%) do it for legit/real medical purpose and the other 99% do it for greed, consumption, and money (that they don’t pay taxes on). Its very very sad and pathetic the excuses they come up with. Its god made? really? its men out their planting it and spraying it with chemicals and men that are selling it to kids, etc. sorry but you got me started ... and I have to say my opinion on the matter, because I see the true repercussions of the marijuana epidemic, i.e. friends killing each other, stealing from each other, market trade with meth, unhealthy drug environment around young children, homeless, large attorney bills, professional certifications/licenses revoked do to now criminal record, and chemical waste from growing dropped into our river and creek streams.
Stop trying to control everyone else and worry about yourself. If someone is affected by marijuana negatively they should avoid it, pretty simple. Spicy foods make my anus burn when I poop the next day so I avoid them. Marijuana doesn't do to me any of the negative things you mentioned, but it relieves my seizures. It counters the side effects of anti seizure medications, the depression, weight loss, and loss of quality of life. Still allows you to be a top notch geotech engineer though, funny that. Try a little current research grandma.

Like I said you might want to be careful. By the way. I'm thin, college educated, and work for a living. my family works for a living. we love this country and we pay our taxeds dispite knowing that they are going to pay for the health care and food for people like you. if you want to live here then just do it right. if you're going to make comments like you are then go back to the country you obviously love and the lifestyle that exists there. don't stay here where you hate everyone and everything. If all you are for is distroying and killing then whats the point? why are you living if all you want to do is kill? that makes you no better then a virus on humanity. By the way white trash I'm not, and I'm not just white. Which makes you the racist for assuming it in the first place. My family comes from many places. not just Europe. The only way you will ever kill me is by shooting me in the back and that will just prove that you're the coward I already assume you are.Whose hiding behind their computer? me or you?

Man shot by deputy identified

Click photo to enlargeAngel Hernandez- Farias (The Willits News)«1»The Mendocino County Coroner released the name of the man killed Tuesday morning by a deputy in a pot raid on Boardman Ridge in the Mendocino National Forest east of Covelo.

The dead man was identified as Angel Hernandez- Farias, 24, a transient.

When Hernandez was arrested in September 2008 by Mendocino County Sheriff's deputies, he was identified on that booking log as a Mexican national with a Santa Rosa address.

The name of the deputy who shot Hernandez has not been released by either the sheriff's office or the Mendocino County District Attorney's Office. The deputy's name is not likely to be released until the MCSO finishes its internal administrative review of the shooting, which typically takes about two weeks.

The district attorney's office will not issue a final report until it receives a full analysis of forensic evidence, which typically takes from 3 to 4 months. Two district attorney investigators were helicoptered into the remote area immediately following the report of an officer involved shooting. According to District Attorney Meredith Lintott, her investigators have completed their preliminary assessment, gathered forensic evidence and sent it to California Department of Justice labs in Eureka and Sacramento. Other involved agencies are still preparing reports and the final autopsy information will not be available for 4 to 6 weeks.

gardens on Boardman Ridge for a total of 11,635 plants.
The Mendocino National Forest shooting is only the latest officer involved shooting during marijuana raids occurring occurred in the past few weeks. In Santa Clara County, a man was shot and killed when he aimed a rifle at officers who were raiding a 20,000 plant grow July 21, say authorities. On July 8, Santa Clara County deputies shot and killed a man they say brandished a shotgun at them while two other armed men ran off and despite a full scale search involving hundreds of law enforcement personnel including helicopters the two armed suspects were never found. On June 30, during a Napa County raid, officers shot and killed Jose Luis Martinez Chavez, 38, of Fresno, after he brandished a handgun at them, say authorities.

Hernandez criminal past

Hernandez pleaded no contest February11, 2010 to a felony charge of conspiracy to commit a crime, all other charges pending from the 2008 arrest were dropped and he received a 90-day jail sentence and 3 years probation, according to Mendocino County Superior Court records.

Hernandez was in one of two vehicles stopped in September 2008 at the request of agents from the Bureau of Land Management by the California Highway Patrol and Mendocino County Sheriff's deputies on Branscomb Road and Highway 101. Three Mexican nationals, including Hernandez, were arrested and eight pounds of processed marijuana and $20,616 in cash were recovered from the two vehicles during the stop. One of the other arrestees bolted from the car and officers used a taser to subdue him.

Thank God they are opening 4 factories in Oakland that will produce 228 pounds of pot a DAY. The people in the triangle need to figure it out. It is not worth growing at $800 a pound and having the pay for legal defense. Many people will go broke in the next year.
Personally I think the government should just print money any time they need it. I am happy to see the cops, government workers, the general public are starving to death because the money is not worth anything anymore. SLAVERY Gas in 1972 was $0.19 to $0.25 per gallon and we were making $15 an hour and today gas is 12 times that amount.
The government does not own me. Voted for Jesus Christ at all levels of the election. An example of people that are owned by the people that control government are the ones that are to stupid and get cancer then go to a hospital and have chemo = mustard gas. Mustard gas is great population and stupid control.
Just want to know the point of entry and angle of the bullet into the body.
$800 a pound? Not likely, it will sell for way less.

The proposed tax of $50 per ounce is already in the MJ bill in the California legislature. If Prop 19 passes the state will move quickly to get their cut in a bigger way than Prop 19 allows.Prop 19 basically freezes the state out of any piece of the pie except for retail sales tax. After the state splits the sales tax with cities and counties they are low man on the totem pole. This will not stand for long.
Pot growing is still very profitable even at $300 to $500 per LB.- just ask the Mexican cartels?

It's only profitable at $300 to $500 a lb if done on a "large scale". Right now outdoor is down to $800 a lb at some co-ops. Unfortunately they still sell at the old prices.
