There's a big hoopla around that now. Due to a new tax in Mexico on soft drinks, they are now thinking about switching over to High Fructose Cron Syrup to save money.

rabbee: well i know 8.1, is got to be not a very funny joke. now some of the things, that used to work with win 8 don't work. but at least i have my Toshiba, to experiment with this stuff. so i don't screw up, any of my desk tops. as it sure likes, to slow stuff down. and won't accept, some of my older cd cause the format is wrong. but you can buy an ap, that will fix it from them. and that start button, is not the start button it used to be.

Thats a promising sign for all of us on two fronts. First, they will be kept away from the govt site. And second, they will be sequestered safely away to yahoo. I mean, who the hell uses yahoo anyhow?

Ah so that's all the people sending me personalised messages from the white house. I thought they made the names up.

Pondering that, distracts frm the Obama-care issue however.

Naming it so gets more negative responses than naming it 'health-care act'.

Cola used to give a kick, now it will give people sulfites, diabetes, overweight and dementia!
When they switched the recipe productivity world-wide took a nose-dive. Up the anti-depressants and sedatives.

No wonder by the way that army-suicide numbers are so high; as far as i know they also get uppers and downers.
So on return you have addicted people that do not even know it!

There was a study out a few months ago that summarized all the studies to date on the subject of gay marriage. The conclusions? That children from gay marriages were just as happy, if not more, than children from straight marriages. Which supports your idea that marriage is good for children. However, your bias is a bit homophobic.

Gay parents are just as unstable as certain straight parents, there is no doubt that there are some stable gay parents but they still aren't normal lol no matter what your politically loaded study says.

Marriage is a bond for a reason.
What is that bond and reason underlying marriage?

Something to do with "pleasing God"? LMAO

Or, is there some better rational underlying marriage?

Kindly explain.

What do you mean as "normal"?

That study was designed to answer the question on whether children were as happy, or more happy, when coming from gay parents compared to straight parents. It didnt get into your subjective notions of "normal" of the parents. Thats besides the point, and obviously irrelevant, considering the conclusions.

Children need stability , they need both mother and father to have normal lives.
That logic is misleading.

Back here in Asia and especially in India where marriage is considered a sacred bond and where divorce, family discord and infidelity are rare phenomena, kids get all the support and love from both parents and from grandparents and from aunts and from uncles and from others and yet in most cases the kids turn out selfish, exploitative, emotionally insecure, psychologically unsound, jealous of those better than them, hard-hearted, indifferent to the suffering of the gave nots, aggressive, unhappy, mental slaves of the West, superstitious, sex perverts, ill-mannered, egotistic, venal and corrupt and it is usually seen that they don't hesitate using criminal methods to get ahead in life.

So, in what way has parental togetherness and family support helped these kids who live with both biological parents become better human beings when on the contrary they turn out, in many ways, degraded individuals no better than the lower beasts?

You are making excuses for gays, doesn't change the fact that they aren't normal.
The word "normal" has shades of meaning ranging from the mundane to the esoteric.

From a deeper perspective, almost no one in the world is "normal" given the serious personality defects that plague most of us.

The perfect human being who is one with the whole of nature and being can be considered "normal", while the rest are pretenders to that title and are in reality freaks of various kinds.

The third world is going through a phase, eventually the trend will reverse.
There's no mathematical theorem that can ever predict the dynamics of nations.

It will be very difficult if not impossible to repeat the success story of a Japan or a Sweden or a Canada in the Third World nations where the different problems afflicting them are too numerous and too deep-rooted and too complex to sort out with ease and besides most Third World people lack the higher intellectual capacities of the Developed nations.

A quick look at the global IQ chart could provide a clue about the potential of a nation.

Just a few days ago, India launched a space probe headed for Mars that puts India on par with the ESA, NASA and Russia and well the media and people in India were extremely proud of the hi-tech achievement of the ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization). What is usually overlooked in such cases is that the ISRO is covertly and overtly helped by Russia who is a leading space power and that the critical technological inputs provided by the Russians to Indian scientists in defense and space ventures are rarely highlighted in the Indian press and so the naive masses in India feel proud of the "indigenous" genius of its scientists and technologists. Another deceit promoted by Indians that till the recent past used to be supported by industrialists, academics and politicians is that NASA is dominated by Indians mainly drawn from the IITs to the extent of 33 % or more. Some years ago, an intrepid journalist thoroughly investigated this bogus claim and published his findings in the reputed Times of India in which he provided evidence showing that scientists and engineers of Asian origin at NASA were around 6% and no more. Other investigators followed his lead and burst the bubble. Another boast back here is to equate the IITs with MIT with some fools going to the extent of claiming that IIT = MIT + Caltech + Stanford. LOL. Obviously, IIT is simply a great cram school at the undergrad level and is nowhere near the super-elite teaching and highly original cutting edge research centers of excellence like MIT, Caltech, Stanford and other US universities.

India is home to many billionaires and Mumbai ranks in the top 5 cities in the world where billionaires are concentrated. However, what is not stated is that Indian billionaires are blood and scam billionaires who have grown super-wealthy by looting the nation and bedsides not one product created by Indian billionaire industrialists is world class with everything being cheap imitations of great products created in the West or
in Japan and almost everything manufactured back in India is based on technology transfer under license from foreign companies.

So, these are examples of a Third World mentality at work and there are several such examples that I can show you that clearly indicate that it is near impossible to transform a Third World country into a developed nation .

Furthermore, religious extremism, mass superstitions, fatalism, terrorism, casteism, ethno-cultural conflicts, population explosion, rampant violence, degraded status of women and other inveterate drawbacks in Third World countries are insurmountable in most ways.

Yes, but there is quite a high degree of transparency, accountability, rule of law and efficiency in the West that is largely missing in say Asia, Africa, Caribbean or South America.

Here, the common citizen is a crook and will not hesitate to use illegal or criminal means to get ahead in life and this rampant dishonesty and inveterate criminal mentality are conspicuously observed in all walks of life.

Ok, Voluntarist, I am tired and am signing out.

something tells me, this kind of hard core idolatry. is not good, for your health at all. but we can always throw, more idolatry at it to not fix it trading for some other pestilence, plague, or famine.
