I remember just after Katrina warning Clayton County that the Closure of the housing projects inside the Atlanta Perimeter and the migration to the Black Mecca of the United States was going to change things on the Southside of Atlanta forever. Not to long after that the Ant Pile migrated to Riverdale and then like a swarm of locusts devoured the rest of Clayton County.

Everyone thought that the plague of low income folks and the crime wave that always follows them would stop at the Clayton County Line.... Most of the folks in Fayette County thought that it would never make it inside their County....Oh well..Fayetteville has become a serious target for the Plague. Your little quite hometown has become the next ghetto in the making. Crime in the Pavilion has skyrocketed, companies are closing up shop and moving toward Peachtree City and Newnan.

These folks turned Clayton County into the Sarajevo of the US. They rented homes and destroyed them like a band of out of control Termites. Even the Middle Class Black families cannot leave Clayton Fast enough.

Fayetteville, your days of being considered a small hometown community are numbered and I really hate that it has to happen to you folks.

It's gotten pretty bad when I would rather shop in Riverdale than in Fayetteville, but that's how it is these days.

According to a recent safety poll conducted by the national security firm SafeWise, the city of Fayetteville was named as one of the top 50 safest cities in the state of Georgia.

SafeWise compares data from the FBI Crime Reports and other in-house research of Georgia cities with a population of 5,000 or more to compile an annual list of the safest cities in Georgia.

In the article by SafeWise, the company indicated,“Fayetteville has received some media attention in the past few years: named one of The Best Towns in Georgia for Young Families by NerdWallet, one of Forbes Top 10 Suburbs for Retirement, and the county was listed in the Top 20 Locations for Budding Technology Economy by Business Insider. With these types of recognitions, it is clear that Fayetteville is a great city for families of all kinds.”

Please post statistics to support allegations.

A huge new movie studio is just weeks away from opening in Fayette County. Construction on Pinewood Studios began earlier this year....

Just a stone's throw from picturesque barns and rural fields sits the brand-new, state-of-the-art movie studio.

Nearly 300 acres with five sound stages will be ready to go in a few weeks. England's Pinewood Studios is known worldwide for "Harry Potter" and James Bond films.

Yes, Its one of the safest cities if you don't count all the car jackings at the Fayette Pavilian, and the robberies, and the home invasions. Also notice where they are building the new Studio....(NOT NEAR THE HOOD). No Bus Transportation or welfare offices anywhere near there.

Define "ALL" the car jackings in Fayetteville and Home Invasions? Use statistics please to support your allegations not just inflammoatory rhetoric. It is unrealistic to expect there will not be crimes of opportunity in any city. Where are the gangs in Fayetteville? There are none because the FCPD go over and above to assure that they do not set up here in this city and county. Their vigilance is to be commended. Not even in the so called "hood" is there any sign of any gangs which if by your embellished and exaggerated description of robberies suggest they are running rampant on crime sprees in the Pavillion area. Are you aware of which high school in Fayetteville has the highest drug usage? It doesn't make that more desirable part of town any less than what it is. It takes space to build a studio, common sense alone would dictate they would buy land at the best rate. I don't believe the "hood" as you so eloquently put it had what would satisfy their needs. You are entitled to your dislike of people for their socio-economic and ethnic background but call a duck a duck and don't disparage a city with a police depart that is diligent and efficient to the point of being nationally recognized for their efforts.
