But when I throw down on a grease dripping bacon cheese burger, and a side order of chili cheese fries, then suck down my route 44 cherry limeaid, I feel fine, like a new man, content and satisfied. Why would one subject their self to such punishment? Well, I dunno...maybe to actually get L@id once in awhile? Or to live 15 -20 yrs longer? Possibly to not have to tote one of those *snazzy* CO2 machines around with you on the electric scooters in Wally-World? Or hey, how about so you can change your Topix user name from "Bat Fastard" to "JustAsHOTAs1985"???

If you want a quality facility, go to Health for Life. http://www.mercykansas.com/hfl/default.asp Their employees are actually friendly and don't have some big goof sitting on the computer in the office staring at you while you work out. Then anytime anyone has a question about anything, he acts like it's a chore to get up off his butt and answer it.

I guess if you enjoy paying ungodlly rates, and are able to workout between 6am and 7am thats fine. Just cause you have a problem with The Fit Club does not mean everyone else has that problem. I guess is you are dedicated to fitness, you should be able to operate the machines in any club. Enjoy paying for the Overhead Mercy Life can offer.

As the Manager of Fit Club and the mother of the "Big Goof" sitting on the computer, I have to say I regret that you had a bad experience at Fit Club. I have owned/operated and worked at gyms for the past 12 years and have to say that communication plays a big part in any gym facility. There is always room for improvement in every business owners customer service and I plan to work hard to improve ours. Health for Life has a lot of good to offer its own members. I trust you will accomplish all your fitness goals there. God Bless- Pamela Sisco Cornerstone Family Fitness Manager

I bet that guy watches you working out because you have so many double chins it looks like you are staring at him over a stack of pancakes!

I wouldn't pay attention to what some people claim on here they like to start stuff just because they can. I've heard good things about Fit Club and most definatly about Pam. She has gone above and beyond to help people become physically fit despite their financial and physical limitations. So props to them for having a mission!

I've seen two post of hers that mention Mercy Health for Life in a positive light. Seems like a good businesswoman who is not intimidated by competition and understands that everyone’s needs and preferences are different.

I am working on my Yoga Certification now, but have been sidetracked with all that is involved with the move and expansion. People who know me know that I don't like to do anything halfway, and I promise I will devote some good attention to that as soon as possible. I am currently looking for instructors who have high integrity and love to make a difference for others. Please send them to me if you know anyone who wants to make some extra money do something that benefits others. I am interested in anything except pole dancing:)

I am also thinking about getting certified to teach them next summer.

The latest update on the club is:
Lord willing, we will open the doors at 9 am on Monday. After that, it will be 24 hour access, 365 days a year.
We are excited!!(worn out, but excited:) The smoothie bar is going to be a great addition for those who are counting calories and need something quick for post workout or lunch.
Our indoor walking track will be great for those who don't like waiting on treadmills or for friends who like to talk while they walk.
Busy moms will especially appreciate the supervised child playroom that will remain $5 a month and the addition of a sitting area for older kids to do their homework while parents work out. The playroom will be video monitored and parents will be able to check in on their kids without interrupting them in the playroom.
Our 30x65 aerobic room will be a fun place once the classes are up and running. One of the classes I personally will lead will be "FIT KIDS". This class will be designed to let kids burn off energy and have fun while their parents exercise in the next room. Each class will be $1 per child.
I personally am a leader in Fellowship of Christian Athletes and plan to have "huddles" at the gym. More info will be posted later about that ministry.
Our GRAND OPENING is scheduled for Saturday, December 5th from 10-5. We will have a 3 hour live radio remote (11-2)that will include free food and drinks, push up contest for a free gym membership, drawings for a free 12 Week Transformation Training, and other exercise related door prizes. We also will be sponsoring a "Business Showcase" that will support Upper Case Living, Premier Jewelry, Advocare, Arbonne, Stephanie"s Portraits and Tupperware.(This showcase will be set up in our aerobic room)
It will be a fun day and an opportunity for us to get acquainted with some new people and a "Welcome Back" to those who are ready to re-join.
For more info about our initial opening or the Grand Opening festivities, you can email me at pamelasisco@gmail.com. I will respond promptly, I promise:)

It sounds like you are very motivated! My kind of person:) Maybe things will work for you to teach before the summer? Perhaps we can chat about that. I will work hard to help anyone who seriously wants to teach!

This really IS going to be a very nice facility and it comes at a time when people in Indy need something FRESH to motivate them to take care of themselves. Hopefully, this will be a turning point for the folks who need to make some radical life changes where their health is concerned. WE plan to keep the prices low so that everyone can afford it. I will do whatever I can to make sure that anyone who WANTS to exercise, has that opportunity. Please come in and see what we have to offer!

Hey Pam, I was wondering about the child care, are there certain hours that you can use that? I am assuming someone won't be there around the clock to watch kids??
