There were acouple of customers from out of town at Walmart today .. They were very moved with the flags on 11th .Our hearts and prayers go out to all the veterans and their familys all over the world .Thank you for your sacrifice...

Drove thru Coffeyville on my way to Tulsa yesterday. The Flags looked GREAT!!!! Thanks to all for your service/sacrifices.

To my understanding. if I was told right from several members of the VFw post here in Coffeyville, Ks.
That if they were to place flag polls for every veteran that died from being in the service. they could place the flags from here to Tyro. OMG that many WOW I thought ! that would be a sight to see. I watched the flags go up early Wednesday morning and I really was amazed to see how beautiful it was driving down 11th street. TO the veterans of Coffeyville, Ks. Happy V day. and thanks for all you've done for our Country to make it a better place to be. C.J known as Spearchucker @ C.C.C.

The flags were put up and taken down by John Deere uaw, CCC welding class, V.F.w.,American legion,all volunteers,there may have been more I am not sure.
If you have a Vetran who has passed, you can get in touch with the Legion or V.f.w., and buy a flag , the flag with their name on a name plate that goes on the pole.Or you can donate one from the casket.
Coffeyville at this time has about 1400 flags
The people who put them up and take them down,are proud of each flag they touch.Each flag is taken down ,this time taken to the V.F.W. and folded,and stored properly.
Volunteers are always welcome.
Memorial day watch for the flags, they will go up starting about 7:00 A.M..
