6 Mississippi Chrysler dealerships to close

NEW YORK - Chrysler LLC wants to eliminate 789 of its U.S. 3,200 dealerships, saying in a bankruptcy court filing Thursday that the network is antiquated and has too many stores competing with each other.

Read a post on a reliable blog recently that indicated the closing of certain Chrysler dealerships was based on support to Democrates or lack of it in recent elections. The article indicated a pattern of closings based on political factors. Someone may wish to look into this. The article in question can be found at http://righttruth.typepad.com
