It's a company plan as with most employees. 80% of insured Americans are through their employer. However, that may end because of Commie Care. They are going to have a minimum coverage that one can have, so if my employers plan does not meet their criteria, then he will either be forced to get better plans or he will drop insurance coverage altogether since we are not allowed to have that minimum coverage anyhow.

If he has to get better plans, then of course, we are going to have to make up that difference with after tax money. If he drops the plan, then we will have to buy our own individual plan and as you stated, it would be much more expensive.

Either way, Commie Care is a disaster and a real problem for most of us. The only possible savior is the fact that we Ohioans voted to exempt ourselves from Commie Care, but I don't know if we will be allowed to escape all parts of it. That hasn't been explained as of yet.

Here in Ohio, they forced insurance companies to cover preexisting condition customers a couple of years ago. A few states have had that in place for some time now.

Recession Recovery:

President, the Justices they appoint, and Elected Officials hold Union workers, consumers, taxpayers, and America’s grandchildren’s children, Government employees, Parents, Teachers, Veterans, Police, Firemen, and Fathers disqualified for affirmative action with white skin, Representatives deny Collective Bargaining Rights accountable.

To fund Illegal drug users and Illegal Immigrants, lottery, casino, and keno losers, unemployed Union workers replaced with nonunion workers, Human Traffickers, waitresses that pander for life for $2.00 per hour, slaves in enterprise zones, low-income child labor, consumers, and taxpayers, volunteers without wages, and nonunion workers willing to work for fewer wages than they can afford life. That pays with welfare checks, food stamps, housing vouchers, and Medicaid.

Defying USA Labor Law, the Constitution, and Realities demands is bankrupting USA. Makes free, fair, and affordable commerce IMPOSSIBLE; Makes funding schools IMPOSSIBLE; Makes balancing every budget IMPOSSIBLE; Makes Union workers, consumers, taxpayers, and Americas grandchildren's children life UNAFFORDABLE; and created Ohio’s $1.35 trillion budget deficit, the $40 trillion social security and the $16 trillion national debt. America’s grandchildren’s children are responsible to pay Chinese, Foreign and Domestic Investors and Stockholders interest with this debt until they are 18 years old.

Workers, consumers, taxpayers, and America’s grandchildren’s children cannot afford life and pay this debt with the $7.25 per hour Government mandated labor wage in a hundred million years.

yeah that depends on a lot of guidlines. I would say it still dosent really fairly cover pre-existing conditions. I would say the ohio law unfairly redefines what a pre-existing condition even is in some cases.

I didnt know that but there again under the McCarran–Ferguson Act its each state to Regulate the Business of Insurance. the McCarran–Ferguson Act which exempts the business of insurance from most federal regulation, including federal antitrust laws to a limited extent. The McCarran–Ferguson Act was passed by Congress in 1945 after the Supreme Court ruled in United States v. South-Eastern Underwriters Association that the federal government could regulate insurance companies under the authority of the Commerce Clause in the U.S. Constitution.

In the 1990s, the Heartland Institute worked with Philip Morris to question the link between secondhand smoke and health risks.[10][29] Philip Morris used Heartland to distribute tobacco-industry material, and arranged for the Heartland Institute to publish "policy studies" which summarized Philip Morris reports.[29][30] The Heartland Institute also undertook a variety of other activities on behalf of Philip Morris, including meeting with legislators, holding "off-the-record" briefings, and producing op-eds, radio interviews, and letters.[29][31] In 1994, at the request of Philip Morris, the Heartland Institute met with Republican Congressmen to encourage them to oppose increases in the federal excise tax. Heartland reported back to Philip Morris that the Congressmen were "strongly in our camp", and planned further meetings with other legislators.[32]

Nothing says grassroots or independent like jumping through hoops for an oil billionaire agenda. You know, the same oil billionaires who directly pay Palin, Bachmann, Perry, Gingrich and Romney. The same one's who fund the Tea Party. Funny how everyone who voted for Bush twice are the ones who now claim they don't trust either side and are "Libertarians". You can call yourself Tea Party or Libertarian or anything you want. I call it what it is. A bunch of racist rightwing Christian Conservative Republicans who were so ashamed of voting for Bush twice, that they tried to cover their tracks with a name switch. You might not have voted for Romney, but you most certainly lost the election.

Let's all take a moment to stop and think about the fact that the exact same people who lied about the dangers of second hand smoke, including a whole panel of "scientists", are the same reason why many on here don't believe in climate change. Remember when the energy industry had you guys fighting against higher effeciency lightbulbs? Now jump through the hoop like a trained poodle...oops I meant Patriot.

Get ready for obama to get big money from oil companies for licenses to export shale gas. Billions. I love the hatred for bush yet the double standard I don't care for. You see obama is the president now. Its not that people think bush was cool and hate democrats. But you can think whatever you think.

Check history,,,SS started out as voluntary. When the Gov realized that the fund would come up short of the needs for the program, it became mandatory.
So much for the FEDS running anything properly...like SS, Medicare, medicaid, Amtrak, USPS, Freddie Mack, Fannie Mae & more. They screw up everything.
Bottom line...If the Feds can't make it work financially, they move the line, raise taxes, exclude certain others, limit payments to doctors, etc.
Medicare recipients NOW pay a monthly co-pay for a manditory tax deduction. Explain all of this & more.
Screw the federal 'control' of programs. They always mess it up.
