what this officer had no way of knowing,
he was beginning his tour of last tour.

Watching over those in the uniform of blue,
they are his charges, children of the throne.

While you never took the time to meet him,
our heavenly father knows them all by name.
Their honor, integrity,courage and pride,
though none ever sought any glorious fame.

On bended knee, his head bowed low,
through tears that had come and gone.
St. Michael gathered this officer in his arms,
slowly began the ascension's journey on.

There at heaven's magnificent gate,
was God, waiting for this soul to embrace.
"Welcome home my son, my first Police Officer,
come now and walk with me in eminent grace."

Thank you, Officer Josh Miktarian, for your service and dedication. You paid the ultimate price for your community.

Okay, remember Officer Taylor, a black man slain by a white motorist in Massillon, Ohio several years ago by an older white man? Let's damn all older white men like this.The point I am trying to make here is that we need to refrain from painting groups with a broad brush. The overwhelming majority of the African-Americans I know don't live a life of crime. Sure, crime is a more serious problem among African-Americans due to it being associated with a myriad of socio-economic factors. I am not excusing it, but it is a fact.
White people in the U.S. as a group really should
not walk around with their noses stuck in the air as though they are as pure as the driven snow because their crime rate in comparison to the rates in Japan, much of Europe and the Middle East
is pretty dismal.

This is so sad my heart goes out to this family. I can't find a reason why any human can be shot in th head four times and its called self defence, this lawyer should be ashamed of himself.

I believe in setting aside personal motivations when there are other more appropriate forums for such. This is a comments page for commenting and remembering the loss of a human being.
