My Dad worked for GM! My first two cars were American-made. My third was German. My fourth was American. My fifth was Japanese. My sixth was American. The rest have been Japanese. American-made are good for four years, maximum, and then turn to ****. The German car was a POS from Day One. Every Japanese car was a good car. Maybe the BIG THREE should have paid attention and learned to build cars like the Japanese instead of relying on you clueless "Buy American" boneheads who bought crap because it was American-made crap.
So you will bite the hands that feeds you......all for spite. Funny thing is Hundyai the Korean brand had to pull out of Japan becuase they sold less than 1,000 cars in 2009. The Japanese will not collaborate with Koreans but you will sell out over some propoganda from Consumer Reports.

I just bought a new car. I paid cash for it. I am happy. Buy a new car and get happy too! Try it, it works!
I hope you brought a toyota. Next month look out for your yellow slip telling you that your job has been outsourced to India. Because they can do a better job for one third the cost.

Bite the hand that fed me? You are an idiot. GM had their shot. In fact they had four shots and came up lacking.

I feel the same way you do.Four out of the last five GM products I bought were junk.I still drive the good one,a 2004 Chevy van that has 210,000 miles on it.I've spent over $300,000 on their stuff since 1995 so I know what you mean on giving them a chance.

My last two vehicle purchase's have been a Corolla and Kia Forte. Both cars have been trouble free and I'll continue to purchase foreign cars.I'm going with Ford when I need a new pickup because they are still independent instead of government owned.

The taxpayer bailout of the UAW closed the deal for me.It's their problem they work for a failed company, not the taxpayers.
