It's not for dealers, I'm against all restrictive gun control and hate NJs extreme purchase permit reqirements. You can still get three permits at a time for handguns, just use them every thirty days because they expire at day 90. The process if your not NJ, apply for permit at local PD, paperwork includes psych request, references and proof of purchase permit( SBI #). And prints. Wait is up to three to four months for return, partly due to high volume of requests. Corzines latest fly in the ointment is the printing process is being pulled from local PD to specific PD or other LE agency which has the laser printer. By specific it averages 20 mile radius from the printing agency. This will now create long waits to get the paperwork in. No FFL in jersey is required to deplete their inventory and replace at 1 gun a month. A bid answer to this insanity is get your friends and family to vote. I and my wife have been pushing people to register and go vote. I'm amazed at how many people are not registered or just don't vote due to disgust or apathy, They get the vote out now we must, we are at do or die time in this country, NJ, NY, Mass, and Calif are glimpses of the future of the country if we don't turn it around in the voting booth. A good vote in NJ can start fixing the mess we are in. Sorry so long winded.

I'm surprised y'all have any firearms owners in your state, with all the criminals and the unreported incest.

Now, you can see why I don't live in a crazy state like NJ. Move here to Arizona and buy all the gun you want. Even buy them from private parties without any problem. Carry permits are also easy to get. We need more good pro-gun people here.

Just more typical DemoRAT B.S. They tried this crap in other states, even took law abiding citizens away, and all that happened was crime skyrocketed. These wishy washy, bleeding heart, morons always cry about guns. The criminals will always get guns, no matter what, all they are doing is leaving law abiding citizens unprotected, if they take their guns away which seems to be coming.

The rank and file police want armed free citizens. It makes their life easier, youv'e seen the stats in all the other gun blogs that you enter to insult real Americans. I am not a chimp, I am a decorated veteran, a police officer who has saved lives directly and made others lives better, a volunteer fireman, father and grandfather, and an oathkeeper. You have shown yourself to be none of these nor have you contributed anything towards the good of this GREAT Country. I don't like to resort to insults but you have proven to be a snot nosed punk ass kid who needs his ass handed to him. You are a POS.
