It is a Trojan Horse. The Fayetteville Shale means $$$ to the people who extract the gas, but is a curse to the land owners. If someone offers you some money to allow drilling, turn it down.

Twin Groves is directly in play. The main vein goes through Twin Groves. It is certainly a blessing for anyone in the rural areas.
