Yeah, they won't like that. The GOP HATES the military. They just cut 900,000 military members' ability to buy goddamn FOOD. Nevermind they caused 50,000 US casualties in illegal wars.
You have never been in the military so keep your mouth shut. The republicans are the ones who have always backed the military. Why don't you ask some of them and see what they have to say about it. You are always running your lips about stuff you have no idea about. You are a DUMBASS

Again, they aren't "recording" your phone calls. Your phone RECORDS do not belong to you. And private emails can't be used against you in a court of law without a warrant. Scanning cyber traffic for keywords isn't forbidden by the 4th amendment.
It is arguably constitutional. That's not my concern. My concern is why the need continues. Are there terrorists here? Are they accumulating data for studies? We should know WHY, then we can argue constitutionality and continuance.
Yes they were recording American citizens phone calls and you would have to be an idiot not to know that. I am glad people are not as stupid as you or the government would never be questioned.

That is not correct. They are recording and storing EVERY SINGLE PHONE CALL you make. They are catching and storing EVERY email yous end. Snowden has already provided the evidence of this. It is fact, period. Your phone records are not subject to the 4th but your actual phone calls most certainly ARE.

One other thing, actually your private emails can be used against you in a court of law. The government openly said they will use all information obtained regardless of if they had or needed a warrant. That is what the government itself said, so you are wrong again. You are believing the government propaganda and not the facts that the patriot Snowden provided and in this case, admitted on its own.

GABRIELLA HAS MORE WISDOM THEN ANY OF US ON HERE

Gabriella Miller was a 10-year-old brain cancer victim that used her situation to help raise awareness. She helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and pediatric cancer research. Unfortunately, she lost her battle in late October.

She makes an important point in the video above: Congress needs to quit worrying about playing politics in order to win the next election and start working for America.

IT is fact that the government is recording and storing every single phone call and every single email sent in direct violation of the 4th amendment. It is fact that the government directly said they will use all information obtained even if it was illegal and required a warrant to prosecute whoever they feel like. They are openly breaking the law to punish people who break the law. The ultimate hypocrites.

The government has gone as far as telling law enforcement and prosecutors to fabricate where and how the evidence was to hide their illegal evidence. That is fact also, the government admitted it.

Only in the case of terrorism. There has not been ONE domestic criminal charge arise out of NSA surveillance on Americans. I know that these surveillance practices aren't designed to entrap criminals, they're to catch terrorists. There is no value in a regular guy's phone calls. If they're recording and storing ALL OF THEM (which they aren't), you should be questioning sanity, not constitutionality. Explain the motive. There is none.

I have no doubt that ALL of our communications are monitored for keywords. That's constitutional. It isn't right and it isn't good. But it has been effective. To allege that the government is storing and monitoring every word written or spoke from every American every day is ridiculous, impossible and ill-conceived. There is no value in it. None. Especially if it can't ever be used to combat crime and only to thwart terrorists. And it is physically impossible. It has to be a keyword system - it would take the same number of people to monitor the round-the-clock communications of any given group. It's kinda like the security camera footage problem. It takes the same amount of time to review video as it does to record it. To review 5 hours worth of footage requires 5 hours - there's no way around it. To monitor one man's communications requires one man.

They don't give a shit about the regular guy. My problem is that this is just another means for the right-wing conspiracy nuts to say that Obama (even though it was Bush) wants to know all about us so he can take us over or some bullshit like that. We all know that's where this is heading, and I'm out of tylenol so I can't deal with that Planet Teabag lunacy today.

You are wrong and again repeating government propoganda. They have and plan to continue using their illegally obtained evidence against EVERYONE, not just terrorists. The government openly said that. Why do you keep making false claims that you obviously know little about.

Yes they are recording and storing EVERY SINGLE phone call, email, etc. including the "regular guys". It has not value as far as terrorism goes, but as for control and oppression it has GREAT value. They actually do care about the "regular guy" that you keep dismissing. They have stated(the government) that they will use evidence "accidentally" obtained through their illegal wiretaps to prosecute whoever they choose, even if it is not relating to terrorism, and have gone as far as to instruct law enforcement and prosecutors to fabricate(lie) about how the evidence was obtained because they know it is illegal. You can continue to ignore those truth and try and dismiss and diminish their criminal activities but that doesnt change the fact that yes, they ARE doing all the above in direct violation of the US Constitution. PERIOD.
