so has there been anymore to this mysterious case? Or has the wonderful Tuttle PD and the OSBI swept this one under the rug like all the rest?

How exactly is this classifed as a home invasion? Unless I am missing something didn't the home owners arrive to the house to find 3 masked men? Isn't that interupting a robbery in progress? I actually used to live in this neighborhood. It is appalling to think that these people had no regard for the other residents that they were putting at risk. This fire could have easily spread and devested this entie neigthborhood.

OK--my two cents...1st, if I was robbing a house and no one was home, I would not leave my mask on in the house. I would want to be able to see everything around me and not have my vision blocked.

2nd, if I came home and found a strange vehicle in my driveway, I would call the police. And if I was robbing someone, I would park close enough to the house to not draw attention of myself as I carry your television out.

3rd, If I robbed you and I had a gun, I wouldn't chance that you might escape and I would probably shoot you or at least shoot some part of your body so that if you broke the chair, you wouldn't chase me.

4th, If I went to all that trouble to rob you, tie you up, burn your house, I would at least take something.

My first thought when I heard this story was that there were drugs in that house. Now, I am not sure. I live in the community and the more I hear about this man, the more I am convinced that I am safe. I also know that we do have several Hispanic families in Tuttle. They work hard, and they make sure that their children are in school so that they can have a better life. They don't do stupid stuff to draw attention to theirselves.

Having lived in that neighborhood and still living in Tuttle and driving through there all the time. I can tell you that there is NO place to park where you would not be seen. This house is at the end of one road and just around the curve of another. There are no sidewalks or even ample street room to park. Someone would have seen the car if it was anywhere with in earshot of the so called victims when they started and drove away. Honestly the homeowners would have likely run right into the car coming either way into the addition. These people had so many other options and they have scared the children of the neighborhood with this story so bad that some are riding the bus to others homes after school as to not be alone. Not to mention their own poor children. There are several Latino families in Tuttle and even in that specific neihborhood, they work hard or they couldn't live in a place where the average housing price is $195k-$300k.

everyone who knows justin knows this fool burned his dang house down to get out of it. supposedly he has been party to more ins claims in the last few years than any of us will have in our life time. evidently he has been living from ins pay check to ins pay check for some time now. hes been talking about moving out of tuttle for awhile now. honestly, the only part i cant believe is that he managed to talk his wife into going along with this charade. im very surprised she went along with it. i feel for the kids. how embarrassing for them in school when everyone is probably ridiculing them for thier parents actions. even if justin gets away with this, he'll have to move his family to the other end of the state where no one knows them. fool.

Is there anything new with this case? I'm also curious if this husband & wife are going to get away with this???? Are they just going on with their lives as if their story was actually true?

I think that maybe a month ago, there was a report on news 9 that said that the investigation was still ongoing, that they hadn't ruled ANYTHING out. They also reported that some neighbors didn't buy this story, the only bad thing was that the person they interviewed didn't articulate well as to why he didn't buy it...

This is exactly why worthless mexicans should not be in our country.#1. If this is a made up story, they would not have been able to use the "they were speaking spanish excuse." The BS flag could have thrown from the get go.#2 If this story isnt made up, if all the worthless mexicans were where they belong, this would have never happened! Just sayin.

This is not true, I am the daughter of them! And it was 6 days after my birthday and I went to go see my grandparents with my cousins and brothers. Also my parents went on a date. Why would you think they would burn the house down themselves? I mean everything was there! We didn't have anything after words NOTHING. No clothes toys shoes hair supplies nothing we had to live with my grandparents. And I didn't even get my baby pictures or nothing so why do people think that?

We held it together but the in 2013 my parents got a divorce and everything flew apart gosh do u know how hard life has been? Then you see people who think my dad did this well this is gods family and gods world and my parents would never do that, people are just mean and self ignorit
