It gave my heart a tug to see the group of Tuskegee Airmen at the Inaugural Ceremony. They endured such hardship and humiliation when they were training, but all of them had enormous pride in doing their jobs, and they proved their naysayers wrong - in a big way. They went above and beyond in helping to protect their country. The fact that many of them are alive to see an African American elected President is absolutely wonderful.
