There was no photo taken of Rosa Parks on December 1, 1955. There was, however, a photo taken of her almost a year later when she and other African Americans along with Martin Luther King were arrested during the bus boycott. The booking photo is often mistakenly labeled as being taken in December 1955, but it was not.
