I personally knew a Tuskegee airman, Wendall Lipscomb, that was one of the pilot trainers. He later became a Doctor and was a brilliant man, He met a tragic accidental death almost 4 years ago, but had he lived, I'm sure he would have been there with the rest of the Tuskegee airmen to witness this historical event.
