Look at it this way....Baby Jayden was born to a 16 yo girl who still lived at home with her parents.
Now the baby has s better home in heaven.
why is that you think just because you say the baby's mother was sixteen and still lived at home was a bad thing. i was seventeen and still lived at home when my first child was born and she was very well taken care of by ME! regardless of Jayden's age does not mean she was not taken care of or reflect anything of her mother.

Yes, I have looked into the eyes of a dead baby... My niece, Maggie Grace Duncan. My sister, Lela was driving. And yes, this is the very accident that this topic is about. If you are really a driver, then you should know better than to make accusing comments. Lela is not stupid. She was not trying to beat the truck. She hit an icy patch, lost traction, and her car fishtailed. No one was speeding. No one was being stupid. It was an accident, you heartless moron. My family is without three precious members and no one is blaming anyone except for clueless idiots such as yourself who just want to be heard when nobody wants to hear them.
As far as the baby's living arrangements go, you simply do not know. Jayden was loved very much. She, Maggie, and DeeDee are now and forever will be loved and missed.
You mentioned that nobody cares about paying the price for being stupid. This must be how your mother feels for not aborting your sorry ****. Maybe we should start a post about how stupid she was for carrying you to full term...
Having your family insulted and talked down on by a stranger pisses you off, doesn't it!? When you are behind the wheel of your "big rig", I pray to God above that you think before you act more than you do when you "speak" in a public forum... Is that a big 10-4, Good Buddy??
My heart goes out to your family and I pray that you will find peace and comfort. As far as "big rig driver" he does nothing but post negative and hurtful things on any article he can find. Ignore him and don't let him cause more pain to your family. God bless each of you and may He grant you strength to make it through the days ahead.

I am the son of Diana, the uncle of Jayden, cousin of Maggie and Nephew of Lela. I would like to say thank you to all the people that gave support. Its comforting to have people help us through tradgic times like this, and just keep all of us in your prayers, especially Lela who is in ICU. Also if the driver of the rig reads this, I would like to say to him that it is NOT his fault that the accident happened, and no one blames him for anything for any reason. Accidents like these happen, and I believe that God has a plan for all of his children, however long there life maybe on this Earth. Thank you once again for everyones support through the tough times, and God Bless everyone!!!
P.S. Arrangements have been made at Greenhill Funeral Home and being held on Tuesday, Feb. 2nd at 11:00am - 1:00pm for all that want to come and show support.
RIP Diana (momma)
RIP Jayden (Jay Jay)
RIP Maggie (Mag Wheels)
and LuLu get well soon. We love you all. God Bless
Chris, We don't know you or your family but can't even begin to imagine the pain and loss that you are feeling and hope you know that your entire family is being lifted up in prayer. Please disregard the post where all they are trying to do is hurt and cause conflict- your family doesn't need more pain and those people aren't worth your time. We pray that you will find strength in the days ahead. Thank you for the words to the trucker because my understanding is that this accident was just that an accident and I can't see that he isn't suffering in a totally different way than your family- even though he couldn't have avoided it I'm sure his mind is seeing it over and over and wishing for a different outcome. May the mercy and love you have shown to him come back to you a hunderdfold.

My sister and girlfriend knew Shandy very well, best friends. Sure shandy was young but she loved that baby with all her heart. I went to her baby shower, I would've never seen anything like this happen, i guess none of us would... To shandy my prayers are with you. I am so sorry.. I only met Jayden once, and that was one of the most beautiful babys I've ever seen. I didn't realize Jojo was her brother, like I said i didnt know her that well, I feel ignorant now... but I just hope and know she can pull through it.

Its called an accident. They happen all the time. And unless people are going out on suicide missions saying 'hey i'm going to kill someone with my car today' then its called an accident.

Maybe Leigh will raise our insurance rates because she actually believes accidents just happen. That is a poor excuse for irresponsible actions.
No excuse for accidents---that should be how we look at it.

i have not yet figured you out, you can write some very intelligent responces, and then BAM, one comes out of you just like this one and then i have lost respect again. please respond with educated thoughts, i know you have them.

Please say extra prayers for all of the families involved. Just yesterday, Lela learned of the accident and of the loss of her precious daughter, Maggie; her sister-in-law, Diana; and that baby Jayden was gone, as well. Maggie's father, Roscoe, has lost his daughter, sister, and great niece. Coy has lost the little girl that was his niece, but in his eyes, his granddaughter... and I know that Donna and Chris felt the same of Maggie. And I can't even imagine what Roscoe's mother is feeling at this point....
And the list could go on and on....
Like I said, please keep everyone in your prayers. If you have something harsh to say, I am asking you, as a friend of those involved, to please keep it to yourself. Thanks.

i'm not going to even ackknowledge that, big rig :). things happen. I was in a wreck last christmas, a woman hit the side of my car going about 40 or 50, my mom had a greean light, the woman ran a red light. i couldve died, my sister couldve been killed. I dont blame the woman, it was an accident. wrong place, wrong time, with bad conditions to contribute. And true not every wreck is an accident but THIS one was.

Anyway point is, I no it wasn't her fault or the truck drivers, I am praying for the family. I am planning on going to see Shandi soon. I'm praying for Lela too.

my mom had a greean light, the woman ran a red light.

That means your mom was NOT watching cross traffic before entering the intersection. A good driver watches for red light runners and anticipates the future events. I know because I am a pro.

The wreck was your mom's fault for inattention.

It is very clear that u are a heartless inconsiderate person who cares only about ur self and u have no respect for others. I hope and pray to God that a tragedy like this never happens to u but in ur eyes from ur responses accidents don't happen so it sounds like u need to get right with God to help u understand what MY FAMILY is going through. That was my aunt and 2 baby cousins that passed away and my other aunt who is pulling through this terrible time and if u can't post anything nice then keep ur opinions to ur self cuz that's my family. And if it wasn't their time to go home with Jesus they'd still be here but God has better and greater things that awaits them....have u EVER heard of a lil compassion....guess not cuz ur doing nothing but making this whole ordeal worse to deal with.....and u don't even care...in my eyes u are a cold hearted heartless piece of s***...so please for my families sake keep ur opinions and comments to ur self
