Man dies after Mooresville chase

Police shot and killed a man following a vehicle chase off Big Indian Loop in Mooresville around 5:46 a.m. today, Mooresville police said. The Iredell Sheriff's Office and the N.C . Highway Patrol were also part of the chase. It's unclear which agency or agencies were involved in the shooting. The victim was ramming trees with his car and attempting to ram police cars and other vehicles, officials said.
