Just got home from the show...Oh how I wish the sets were reveresed. Anthrax sounded just as good as the first time I saw them live in 1991 and did a great, energectic, "real" performance. I think the only downfall at this point in their career is when you have such a vast catalog of music to select from how do you narrow that down to a 1 hour set? They could play for 3 hours and still not touch on all the areas they have influenced modern metal.

To sum it up in one sentence....

Stayed on the floor near the pit for Anthrax (and I am WAY too old to be doing such things) and stayed comfortable in my seat for Zombie bored...

Hope everyone who went tonite had a great time. I know I did!!!

i saw them both last week. i enjoyed both bands. i thought that anthrax could have been a lot louder. i also thought that both bands could have played a lot longer. anthrax didn't do I'm the man. i was bummed. they did put on a great show nonetheless.

Wish I would have made it...Anthrax and Iron Maiden at the Salem Armory was my first arena metal show back in '90. Seeing Anthrax again at the same venue would have been incredible I'm sure. Does anyone have a setlist?

Daily Horoscope for January 1

Capricorn

Happy New Year, Capricorn! I don't think the hair of the dog will help much this morning! If you're socialising again today, keep a rein on your expenses, as there could be a slight confusion in financial matters. Friends will be at your side and bail you out if there is a crisis. Use your strong internal discipline to accomplish your personal goals this year.
