Thats nice history but now those days are long forgotten. Now San Bernardino is home to gang members and crime. The city is a shell of what it used to be and anybodyt who had the choice would most definitely not want to raise their kids there. The Orange Show is a joke. It's a cheap carny hangout for gangs and thugs and rides that require a person to risk their life to ride on. San Bernardino is no longer what it used to be and will never be. When ever an article talks about what a bad rap something has gotten, then talks about the good ole days, that's code for, "Now it's crap!"

The only way San Bernardino can return to it's "glory days" is if it stops tooting its own horn and inventing an image that doesn't exist. The leaders of the city need to look at the present, not the past, and publically admit the place is in the gutter and then fix it. The residences and anyone who has ever visited the city knows the truth. All the fancy plans and positive marketing articles in the world aren't going to do anything if the real problem is agnored. San Bernardino has become a mecca for one thing, crime. As great as the California theater is, the area that surrounds it is awful. I spent 24 years living in San Bernardino and knowing of its great past and all I thought of everyday as I drove arround was how said it was that those days were long gone. The area has only gotten worse over the last 5 years since I moved out. As they attempt to clean up one area, the scum just moves to another. So said!

I think it is really sad that all thes punk gang members wanna screw up the city of san bernardino. Its like they have no shame whats so ever. They have no heart 4 anyone el's not even themselves. I just dont get what the hell they get out of hurting and killing other innocent people. They commit crimes anywhere they dam please and dont care. They should lock them all up and throw away the key. I lost a good friend ronald jaramillo, i met him back in 1985 in santa fe new mexico. He was killed 3 years ago+by+a+punk+ass+gang+member. +He+had+kids+and+a+family+he+d int+deserve+2+die+like+that.+M y+heart+goes+out+2+his+brother +gabriel+who+i+still+love,+and +i+miss+him+so+much.+And+of+co urse+his+family+rest+in+peace+ ronald...+And+the+same+2+his+f riend+who+was+with+him+rest+in +peace.....
