I believe he took a ride with someone...

There are 80 Registered Sex Offenders in the Tupper Lake zip code....this is where the police should be concentrating their investigation.

I can't believe there are that many sex offenders in that area! You move out into the middle of nowhere and you still can't escape the sick pedophiles... I really hope they find this poor kid and I hope he is safe when they do. One piece of info I haven't been able to find is whether or not there was alcohol involved. Had He been drinking?

This area is dangerous. PPl are lulled into thinking this area being rural makes it safe. No lack of malicious individuals here. This young man is more than likely never going to be seen alive again.

Wow. For the dumbasses who wish to comment without checking facts.....there are, per capita, more registered sex offenders in Tupper Lake than in other areas due to the New York State CIT units at Sunmount.

THEY ARE BEHIND BARS ALREADY YOU JACKASSES.

If the NY State Police thought that foul play was a factor in this case any sex offender with an applicable criminal profile (and who are not behind bars already) would be interviewed and/or interrogated. Geesh, get a freakin clue and stop posting crap....

Let's all just keep hoping they find the young man in one piece. This is a tragic thing. One can assume given the time of night and where he was that he had been partying. Given his age, there could be a problem with whomever provided the booze to him.
Anyway, keep hoping for the family's sake that they find him soon.
Say a prayer for him and the family. Even if you're not a believer, say it anyway.
God Bless Tupper Lakers for coming out in droves to help search!

Why was Colin's driver's license found at the roadside? For what reason did he take out his ID? The missing link is who last talked to him on that road. Who knew he was there?

All this ground search etc is very helpful but I think this poor child has been picked up by someone or was hit by someone in their car, and they did something to him.. This road is very dark, winding around and around, and no nearby homes etc.....Im so heart broken for this family. PRAYERS go out to all of you.

I'd hate to be the people who gave him booze or drugs, whatever they find in him when they find him. Someone did that's for sure and they'll find out who no matter what.
Stay tuned. I'm sure this saga will be on the news more than Burlington's news.

this is old news. The family doesn't want to review any info but they want to raise money...

Kid does not vanish in thin air. Somebody in Tupper Lake knows what happened. Been 3 months now and nobody seems to care anymore.

1. Who was at the party?
2. Have they been interviewed?
3. Where does he live?
4. have the 3 motorists who last saw him been interviewed?

I can't help but still think about this case. It just seems like someone should know what happened to this kid by now. I was looking at a map of the rd where they say they found some of his things, that rd (Setting Pole Dam Road) leads to a dam. Was he drunk and Maybe fell into the freezing cold water? I feel for the family and friends and I can only imagine how frustrating and painful it must be for them to still not know what happened. I don't think the media covered this case enough...and there hasn't been any updates, and very little details released which makes me wonder if its suspicious and maybe a crime.

Some things are not publicly none because it could jeopardize the case.

A specialist in missing people of this nature is a research investigator named Marilyn Greene in New York. She is successful and simply needs volunteers to create an effective team.

should be looking in water. I know of cases where they thought the water was froze over with too much ice yet they find the body in water any way.
