Ashley is not a poor corporation and it imports much of its work from Asia. Why not use those funds for a starup?

...this is like a treasure hunt. Scour the forums for the next great anon stupid-comment.

Let me guess anon, you have already researched the amount of funds given on a State and Local level for startups right? AND you researched the Ashley decision so you know the costs and the benefits and the decisions made by Ashley in the purchase, AND you have already researched and compared that decision to the startup support and weighed the cost, investment and return on investment, jobs created and come to the conclusion after looking at all of that....that indeed the funds are wasted on the Ashley decision.

Good. for a minute there, I just thought you were bitching again for no other reason, but because you had another breath.

The state should not use any money for private corporations no matter how many jobs they take as slaves.

If you want progress then remove the religious bans on abortion and see how many doctors move in. Unwanted births is a big business in MS.
Invite stem cell research. Promote Gay marriage. Remove laws against drugs alone with welfare fare payments. If you want progress stop shooting yourself in the foot.

DANG! And to think, to make our society successful, put money in the pocket of every citizen, and to grow communities, all we have to do is:

-get rid of every church on the planet
-let mothers abort their kid whenever they want
-let gays and lesbians marry
-make drugs legal
-stop using guns on people's feet

...that about sums it up. ANON FOR PRESIDENT!(o wait, you don't think we need a President...sorry)

You never put money in peoples pockets you take the road blocks down so they can be responsible for them selves. In the socialist experiment people sit back and let government handouts take care of them. In the real world you are responsible for your survival not the government.

You do not need leaders to tell you what to do.

As for church you can form any social club you like just do not force your beliefs on others.
