I'm pretty sure it's not a family restaurant anymore. Drunks, cops, fights & foul language have become the new "normal" for dining in this establishment.

Just how often do you visit that restaurant?

Well if you don't like it, don't go there. Problem solved. That was easy.

Well bb aren't you a class act.
No I won't be returning, but I didn't need your highly educated and qualified Remark to figure that one out. Duh

Me ... an instigator? A fine upstanding Irishman like myself shouldn't be tolerating those who are so bold as to respond to a direct question by attempting to redirect the conversation with a query of their very own!
Now would you kindly attend to the first question? At this rate I'm going to need a fresh shave before I get an answer!

The nerve of some people!

I didn't see how the lame question was relevant to the facts, but if u insist, I visited at least 1 to 2 times a month at night on the weekend, & witnessed 3 different incidences & I won't be returning. Now how could that fact matter. My quoted facts should have sufficed.

Ahahhahahha! What I just realized is that you chose to respond to a query that was not really sent in your direction. My last question was aimed at bb. I wasn't questioning your decision not to hang out at Chilis.
My wife & I land in there a few times a month & typically sit in a booth in the bar area. We like it ok.

I have an idea: those of us in & around Tupelo, MS should agree to get together at some eatery in the area just to look at one another.

Doing that just might be rewarding. Wherever we do this has to serve both food and booze, and at the same time be somewhere you'd be willing to take your momma.

I've lived in MS only 1/ months, and primarily due to the insane cost of fuel, we don't do the "Sunday" drives these days. I know where all the franchise restaurants are, but none of the truly special homegrown eateries.

Thoughts???

There's a good Mexican eatery just North of Guntown on 145 that meets all of my criteria.

We need input!!!

I don't think personally that anything is unique about chilli's. Very generic and low quality food and drinks. Service is also very bland and food takes a long time to come out, even when they aren't busy. 2 thumbs down.

I love Chili's in Tupelo! Wonderful place to go. Yes, like every restaurant, there are some bad servers, but if you meet the right one they will do everything to make your visit awesome. Also, yes it is a bar, so let's be realistic people...shit happens. If the place is not of your liking then don't discredit the entire thing; just don't go back. It is my favorite place to go, and people on here need to get the sticks out of their butts.

We were in Chili's / Tupelo Saturday for lunch. It was fairly crowded, but the servers were attentive and quick on their feet. The food was promptly served and the drinks were never empty.

Well done!

That's what serving alcohol will do. Glad for the info.

No one ever said one word about the service, just the patrons. You should be able to go to any dining establishment and eat without other diners disrupting a restaurant, I shouldn't have to listen to vulgarity, especially when dining with my children, and when the cops have to show up I'm thinking is this Chili's or the projects. Yes drink with ur dinner & have a nice night out but if you are a person who can't control how to be respectable & decent when out in public then go to the honky tonk bars, or stay at home, maybe that's 2 places where children are not around. And get the stick out ur ass, please... I bet u always got one there, another fine example of a classy lady. Maybe they should open a bar called trashy ***** for those classless women & they're men who can't hold there liquor & act right! Where are ur mothers? Apparently you didn't learn mannerisms, modesty, or ladylike ways! Geez!

Seriously, everyone is exaggerating the rare problems at Chili's. I've worked there for 4 years, and I love it. There are always going to be the few loud, annoying people especially closer to the bar and late at night, but if it's a nuisance ask for the General Manager, Carrie. She will solve the problem.

You can call it bias if you want, I'm just trying to help though.
